Ravens Ring of Honor
1. Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray
2. SF Niners: Nick Bosa
3. New York Jets: Josh Allen
4. Oakland Raiders: Quinnen Williams
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Montez Sweat (Combine Riser into the top 5)
6. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jawaan Taylor (Got to protect your new investment in Nick Foles)
8. Detroit Lions: Jonah Williams
9. Buffalo Bills: DK Metcalf (Josh Allen's Cannon + DK's speed!)
10. Denver Broncos: Drew Lock (Elway is smitten by Lock. Flacco is the perfect bridge QB for him)
11. Cincy Bengals: Devin White (this makes too much sense)
12. Greenbay Packers: Rashan Gary
13. Miami Dolphins: Clelin Ferrell (Dolphins already admitting theyll tank for a 2020 QB. So build the D)
14. Atlanta Falcons: Ed Oliver
15. Washington Redskins: Greedy Williams
16. Carolina Panthers: Andre Dillard
17. Cleveland Browns: Deandre Baker
18. Minnesota Vikings: Cody Ford (this will sting when he gets selected before our pick)
19. Tennessee Titans: TJ Hockenson (Helps Mariota as well as clearing the way for new star, Henry)
20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Devin Bush (Shazier's replacement)
21. Seattle Seahawks: Chris Lindstrom (Finally, OL help for Wilson)
22. Baltimore Ravens:
AJ Brown, WR, Ole Miss
- People wonder why DK didn't put up the stats he should of with the combine numbers he had. It was because of this guy. Worked mostly in the slot, but when DK went down, proved he can play on the outside. Great Route Runner with strong hands. He might not have the highest ceiling as some of the other WRs, but his floor is probably the highest. 6'0" at 226lbs running a 4.49, He's a faster Anquan Boldin. Did I mention great hands?
Round 3
Pick 85:
Juan Thornhill, Safety, Virginia
- Former cornerback turned safety. Great instincts and ball hawking skills. Very Rangy and athletic, running a 4.42 at the combine. Pair him up with Jefferson and lets roll.
Pick 102(Comp pick):
David Sills, WR, West Virginia
- A WR whos dream was to play QB getting thrown to by a QB whos suppose to play WR? Come on.. why not? Okay, but seriously, David Sills can ball. Needs to get stronger and improve his route running, being that he's a former QB. But you see the improvement he makes every year in that department. Impressive, natural ball skills with great body control. Goal Line specialist, scoring a touchdown once in every 3.7 catches during his college career. Did I mention great hands?
Round 4
Pick 113(Denver Trade):
Nate Davis, OG, Charlotte
- We go back into the small school pool to find our interior Oline help. Excellent power that is capable of dominating at the point of attack. Finish blocks with a nasty demeanor. Outstanding foot quickness and agility. Able to bend and get low into his stance.
Pick 123:
Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
- Matt Miller calls him the best 3rd down back in this draft class. Was the workhorse of A&M, so theres mileage there. Very hard worker. High football character. Combine press mentions how he would always be in the weight room after every practice. First one in, last one out kind of guy. Very calm runner with good burst (ran a 4.51) and quick feet. Excellent receiver out of the backfield as well as splitting out wide. Despite his size, hes a willing pass blocker.
Round 5
Pick 161:
Corey Ballentine, CB, Washburn
- Depth and Special teams. You can never have too many corners. Not sure what's going to happen with Jimmy Smith, but even so.. this is probably Brandon Carr's last year. Winner of the Cliff Harris Award. It honors the nation's small college defensive player of the year. 2 sport athlete (track) with outstanding speed. Combine profile mentions him as a special teams ace with the ability to return kicks, cover kicks, and block kicks. John Harbaugh must be salivating.
Round 6
Pick 193:
Tre Watson, ILB, Maryland
- Senior bowl and combine snub. Watson posted 114 tackles, 3 sacks and 5 ints (1 for a TD) for the terps in 2018. Second team All-Big Ten. Athletic coverage linebacker who adds depth to the position that might be really young, depending if Mosley resigns or not.
Pick 195:
Jordan Ta'amu, QB, Ole Miss
- Tyrod 2.0? We know with Lamar's play style, we need a decent backup QB. Even if we resign RG3, why not throw a dart in the 6th round and see if we can find another tyrod and have a back up QB for lamar for the next 4 years. The Draft Network list Jordan as it's "Sleeper QB of Choice." Experienced in running the RPO. Mobile QB. Sound mechanics that leads to accurate balls. Possesses NFL arm talent. Just needs to have better field awareness.
