That’s presumptiuous. We had literally an entire 2 rounds of “really?” picks. No guarantee at all that Boykin would have been there. If they’re trading up for him, they likely had good intel that some team coming up was interested as well.
well my question then would be why tf were we so interested?

he looks way stiffer than his combine showed, he pulls away from nobody, he doesnt change direction well, hes always covered and tbh his contested catch ability is only average for a guy who basically cant do anything else

proof they were not happy with jaleel scott and don't believe in him.

the marquise brown pick had grown on me a good bit by the end of the night... im getting more disappointed by these picks the more i think about them...

im sorry im being so damn negative, but if this turns out to be a good day 2 ill begin to really question whether or not i have a goddamn clue.

To be honest, taking into account our poor draft positions ( yes they were poor) most of the guys eric wanted were gone.

So we get someone that can take it to the house at any time and someone that can pluck the ball out of the air with a 6’4” frame and a good high point radius which is perfect for Lamar and Jaylon looked like a 1st rounder based on his tape alone but none of that matters because Eric didn’t pick some fan favorites lol.. doesn’t Butler have drop issues? Aren’t we solid at drafting good offensive linemen in the mid to later rounds? People; wooooosahhhhh

lol they shouldnt have taken him either. so they go get a very similar player the next year... no lessons learned? just like no lessons learned from correa? stiff rushers with next to no technical skill at all, those are our guys, and we'll keep taking them until one of them breaks the trend of stiff nonskilled rushers magically doing well in the nfl

well, ferguson doesnt look like a first rounder on tape.. and miles boykins only good for the one thing you said, and frankly he isnt THAT good at it.
