I cannot help but love watching Kenny Wilekes. Dude's not super powerful but he moves so well and he's such a clean technician. If I'm being honest he's ahead of a lot of other pass rushers in this draft and I'd love to see what he can do as a standup OLB which might be a better fit.

@JoeyFlex5 - did some more digging on tuszka on my day off...

he's got a bit more polish than i thought at first glance - does everything you want someone to do when playing at that sort of level of competition which is dominate on a snap by snap basis while also showing off pro-traits that translate

he's got shorter arms but a really devastating punch if he gets his hands in first (which at that level of competition he almost always does) - importantly he gets into half (or none) of the man opposite and uses his hands and athleticism to create pressure opportunities for him

and impressive bend which is really a good sign

in the running game he's way more inconsistent but shows off a really dominant ability to shed guys at his level

ultimately i think he's more refined than i would have expected but its just really hard to judge whether his limitations (length) will get exploited in the pros and whether his athleticism is actually as good as it looks

but id happily take him high on day 3 - ive got no more questions about him than i do about someone like alton robinson (who i also like)

I just watched some more Terrell Lewis which Is a player I’ve watched but not very much of, man I just don’t know..

That upside is VERY real, but idk if I’m missing something or what but I just don’t see much ability at all around the arc, like I don’t see the flexibility, I see pretty poor balance at times, total lack of a disengage, no flattening techniques, and even with a great snap jump and first step and sustained speed throughout his rush he still seems to get swallowed up right around the arc, I just feel like I’m watching an edge rusher who has no clue how to approach the second half of the edge rush.

when he stunts inside, my god is it an absolute thing of beauty, he can fake outside and break in and he ramps up speed so damn quick on that move it’s just incredible, and it’s even more impressive when someone has the audacity to try to fill the gap and slow him down because he uses that length and momentum and just bulls right the hell over anyone, his inside rush is just beautiful when it presents itself.

if anyone has examples of Terrell Lewis showing quality outside rushes please point me in the right direction

who are your preferred edge guys this year?

Honestly there isn't much I fell in love with this year.
Not like I had a lot of time to get a detailed look but even my favourite (and realistic pick) Okwara had a down year before the injury.
He showed some limitations as an edge setter, something we highly evaluate as an organisation I guess.
He's still explosive enough and with good bend to grant him a RD1 pick imo.
I'm still having some doubts on Chaisson for similar reasons and that duo Epenesa/Gross-Matos looks like having some real flexibility problems.. I wouldn't cry if we pick any of them but I'd like Murray first and a Taylor or Garvin later in rd3

garvin's high ceiling but apparently has tons of red flags

i dont love murray at all though tbh

my favourite EDGE guy on day 2 is probably jonathan greenard - added bonus is he played football with lamar and hollywood as a kid

I think he was at Louisville for Lamar's freshman year.

Oh ok.. Didn't read anything about it.
As I said, this past year has been more of 'a little bit of this, a little bit of that'..didn't really make any background search.

Keep in mind he played hurt to finish the season. Ankle sprain iirc.

My bad. I just jumped in the site after some time and really didn't take the time to read all the comments. I just saw once and replied to that.
I think he looked quite overweight on the ColSt tape, too. Idk whether his ankle is the reason of his bad condition or not but if it's the case, why forcing him in? Looks counter productive for both sides

He was hurt during the later half of the year and played through it. Which inevitably affected bis performances.
If you consider his CSU tape bad that's another matter. I think he looks funny but I don't feel like he plays slow at all. His first step really shocked me and he does the rest naturally, from bend to handfight. I know he played shit competition but he made them look even more shitty.
