This would be the equivalent of us not playing Lamar in the preseason at all and the media going fishing trying to make a story about it. Don't stress over this. Believe me, with how much he took off from a national standpoint last year, it would be front and center breaking news if it was a serious injury.

i think its the combination of earl and injuries - he's never wanted to talk about injuries post-breshad because that whole saga embarrassed him so he doesnt put timelines on stuff

and let's be honest lamar really doesnt need the work right now

Imo every team needs a center fielder type. I feel like theyre usually the smartest and most instinctive players on the team. Cant really plan for center fielders.

thats why you keep mentioning Hooker. But Hooker's a true center fielder type can't use him around the LoS (unless he has drastically improved in this area since entering the nfl)

Did anyone see Orlando brown jr on today’s live camp? He looks like quarantine did a number on him, I see a LOT of bad weight around his midsection

i say hooker cause i remember seeing something about colts not keeping him. I dnt think its all that hard for a center fielder to play at the los tbh. Its much harder for them to be a center fielder. I mean look at tong jefferson. I just rather not have a S who gets lost in space

tony jefferson wasnt making many plays at the LoS either tbh

we dont play a lot of single high or cover 3 as a base defence and we use a lot of deception at the 1st and 2nd level of the defence to disguise what the coverage is pre-snap - for that to work you need to have the ability to both play at the LoS and deep - earl was learning the LoS stuff last year and did pretty well at it - deshon is not a headliner because we've not seen many snaps from him but he's got the range and the instincts to cover the hashes and makes ranging plays (which he'll only get better and better at) but he's also got a nose for the football going back to his junior season at college where he was a turnover machine

we're not going to find someone close to earl's ability outside of the building and anyone else isnt going to be taking the job from deshon at this point



we're not going to get a major guy like hooker in - it's just not happening

and i know deshon's a guy i love a lot more than others (it seems) but im happy to ride with him

im more worried about who takes over the 3rd safety role

Just was thinking, I've been seeing people post that the whole ET situation is why we shouldn't sign AB, which is true.

But in the other hand, we now know that Harbs, the players and FO aren't messing around with toxic behavior and it's basically a one strike policy here. So that would be re fleshing to know if we take risks signing risky players like AB moving forward.

This is absolutely a fact but... worse looks worse lol, and from what I’m seeing he looks worse. His arms look more swole though and he just looks broader in general, but his midsection is looking fat as fuck compared to last year

I get what you’re saying, but Earl Thomas is just an asshole, he’s like a grumpy old man on a team full of young upstart players, AB is out his goddamn mind but I think he would be able to have more pull with the players than earl would. Plus AB clearly has the superior work ethic and that seems to be part of why the players want him gone, so that could buy him even more favor with the players.

If ab has the players on his side and drama starts with the coaches, look tf out, it’s gonna get bumpy.
