Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania have Democrat Governors. They screwed themselves.

they have republican legislatures in charge of their elections - i misspoke when i said governors but it is republicans who set the rules for these elections (the same rules that trump is questioning)

just listened to the entire wisconsin election officials press conference and they pointed out you can literally watch their entire election process yourself (most places had live streams of the count and had video live of voters voting and the challenger system etc. and also their triple checking system)

I find it incredibly strange that Michigan over night found 140k ballots with 100% of them going to Biden

Here's the answer with video proof. Also I'm seeing that Pennsylvania will allow votes to be counted even WITHOUT being postmarked up to Friday. Notice how Trump was leading MI and WI and overnight Biden magically took the lead. With Trump leading PA, NC and GA, and refusal of calling those for Trump, it's as if they are waiting for more votes to magically appear for Biden in those states. So far, MI has video proof of something suspicious going on.

Pennsylvania is counting votes that arrive as late as the 6th as long as there is no evidence that they were mailed after Nov 3. A ballot that is clearly postmarked Nov 4 will not be counted according to the rules.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/19/us/supreme-court-pennsylvania-voting.html

I'm having trouble finding an article that I read on cnbc earlier today. It stated that not only has extended voting been used before during emergency disasters, but that 18 states (including 9 that Trump took in 2016) have laws on the books permitting it. I'll post that link if I can find the article again.

Trump disparaged mail in ballots for months before this election. It is no surprise that Republicans voted in person (and their votes were counted first in many states) then as mail in ballots arrive, the numbers are changing. Democrats encouraged mail in votes due to covid. So alot of Democrats sent their ballots on the first, second, or third. It takes time for those ballots to go through the mail and get counted. Since mail in votes have largely been for Biden, it's no surprise that people are indeed expecting more Biden votes as the mail ballots come in.

From the link you posted:
"SoRelle is raising alarms that the box may have been a ballot box that arrived long after all ballots were expected to have been received at the counting facility."

Again, mail in ballots take longer to arrive so if they are ballots, that not exactly shocking. At least one of the containers reportedly had camera equipment. Some of the coolers might have contained water bottles for the workers that were scheduled to come in the next day.

I see people saying that it's suspicious that 100k votes went to this or that candidate. I'm not sure that it's any stranger than saying that Texas went Republican or California went Democratic. Did every single solitary person vote along the popular party lines? Of course not, but we can still say it because its the majority.

Well America, get your popcorn out and you'll need plenty. This is going to be a much longer version of Bush V Gore. Other countries right now have to be laughing at America right now.

I highly doubt the chuckling just started.

genuinely amazing watching the scenes after it was called this afternoon and evening - the relief and joy that's around is heart-warming - hearing those cityscapes of people celebrating has been bringing me joy and hope since

I worked late last night. Woke up and turned the tv on to see people dancing in the streets and choked up. Im not a huge fan of Biden and I dont predict momentous change but the sense of relief that that POS is not leading our country is profound.

As if COVID isn't a threat? Now they have become the superspreaders.

Also don't celebrate yet... right now the way people are celebrating reminds me of a certain 28-3 lead and a 3-1 lead the Braves had over the Dodgers. Courts will decide this and hand Trump a second term.

i think that's a relief that's reflected around the world right now given the fact that there i could hear fireworks here a couple of hours after the election was called (im choosing to believe it was about biden and not just 2 days late for bonfire night) - church bells going off all around paris

the whole world is relieved i think

maybe in a close election but most of his legal challenges have already been thrown out and the supreme court is mostly a last resort in elections

this election isnt close - biden's probably going to finish with the same margin of victory trump had in 2016 (in the electoral college) and he would have to substantially change the outcomes of 3 races at least at this point to change the outcome of the election which is exceedingly unlikely

i get it guys, orange man bad, and ill give you climate denying which was a huge problem i had with trump even as a reluctant trump supporter, but other than that, lets hear what you think is going to be an improvement over trump with biden and harris...

opening the floodgates to outsource manufacturing to other countries again?

how about the radical criminal justice measures that have been hallmarks of biden's and harris' careers? yeah i guess theyve never disenfranchised a group of people before... im sure these 2 are gonna handle the police issues in this country very well

how about the softening of rhetoric towards the likes of iran and NK and china?

or is it the paris climate accord which was basically a group of nations saying "hey america, pollute less and also pay 90% of this funding pool while we do nothing about the pollution coming from the likes of india and china and their bordering nations" which accounts for nearly ALL pollution in the world(relatively speaking)

or how about the hammer that is about to come down on small business? how about the almost certain increase in property taxes? gas prices? hammering down on the oil industry decades before we are prepared to do such a thing? reduced military budget?

i get it, trump wasnt the most likeable guy, and the climate denying was a problem, as was his penchant for wording things very poorly, and childish antics from time to time, but he was all about ONE thing, keeping our economy in a solid place, and he did a hell of a job with it.

anecdotal story; back in 2012 when i first started trying to be a real adult, i lost 32% of my paycheck to taxes, THIRTY TWO PERCENT ON A $480 CHECK!!! few years later when i decided i needed health insurance and ACA was in full effect it cost me $49 per pay period(1 week paycheck) and my deductible was $4500, the next year my weekly premium shot up to over $60 and i had to cancel health insurance because i couldnt afford it, but i was already paying back my $4500 deductible after having an appendectomy the previous year, so im paying an outrageous health coverage cost and didnt even have health coverage, this is all on top of losing literally an entire one third of my check to taxes, nearly half of my weak ass paycheck went to taxes and some healthcare related cost, i had ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE at getting ahead in life. fast forward to trump years, In 2019, making essentially double what i made in 2012, the TOTAL COMBINED EXPENSES on my paycheck were around 21%, so that means: all fed and state taxes, and health insurance premiums, combined for under 21% of my check, and my deductible is $1000, i was losing an entire third of my check WITHOUT health insurance prior to that.

the financial freedom that the average american has been given as a result of trumps policies is exactly why we voted for him, and he succeeded, the proof is in the pudding, me, my parents, my in laws, my peers, we all have concrete evidence of trumps successes, it has had a major impact on our lives. you can talk until youre blue in the face about how trump is insensitive but i do not give a single fuck, if i go back to losing a third of my paycheck and gas prices are over $4 a gallon and my healthcare costs me $150 a week for me, my wife, and son, well then im just gonna start breaking the fucking law to afford the life that ive worked so hard to build and maintain. no sorry sack of shit in the oval office is gonna fucking take away my livelihood the way obama did, the average american was absolutely handcuffed the first half of the 2010s, no chance to prosper or advance due to crushing taxes and healthcare costs, i wont let the same govt. first policies handcuff me again and keep food out of my kids mouths. @rossihunter2 with all due respect you do not and never have lived in the US and have never at any point been affected by american democrat policies, which essentially consist of taxing the living piss out of everyone and overregulation, so you can rejoice because orange man isnt around to say rude things anymore, but just understand that you arent going to see your daily life affected the way we are.

What did you do for a living in 2012?

Construction. Same as now, different trade.

You and I are similar in age. I am curious how things changed for you financially the last 4 years and what you made vs what you experienced in 2012. DM me if you don't want to answer that here.

Nothing private lol, I went from working construction, to trade school, and into a trade. trump got elected while I was still in trade school.

I’m certainly making more now than I was then, a lot more. And I’m also married, but back in 2015 which was the last time I was regularly working 40 or more before school, I was claiming 2 on tax returns and was paying 29% of my check in taxes(not including healthcare), 3 years earlier, claiming 1 I was paying 32%. I was working OT most weeks at $12/hr and paying 32% of that wage in state and fed taxes, in 2020 claiming 1 as married, my percentage of wages paid in taxes is in the teens. It’s been a massive difference in taxes and healthcare, and when I say massive I mean life altering shit, if I was taxed at the same rate I was taxed from 2012-2015 and paid the same in healthcare I wouldn’t be able to afford my
House and car payment, I wasn’t a property owner back then so idk about property taxes and I damn sure hope I don’t arrive to a harsh reality in that regard...

You live in MD right? Have you considered moving elsewhere like where the income tax is lower and such? Just curious. I live in NC and my pay would go up about $50 per check if I lived in FL or other states with no income tax. I felt cheated out of money lol.

I do, and trust me I want so badly to leave but I just can’t, I got a 4 year old and another on the way, I want him close to his grandparents. Me and my wife fully plan on going to SC or FL when the kids are grown. We actually were debating doing it for our first house but ultimately we’re just too tight knit to do that right now
