Lamar Jackson

This man Lamar LMAOOOO. If you don't get the reference, let me know. I'll make sure that you have a ticket to the PIT OF MISERY expeditiously.

When I was watching this presser and I heard Mike Jones I said to myself “who?” (I swear it’s reaction every time I hear Mike Jones lol) and then Lamar reacted to hearing it as well. unexpected but had me dying!

That's fine. He's a rapper from Houston. His most notable songs include Still Tippin' (my absolute favorite, Back Then, and Who? Here's your ticket to the PIT OF MISERY. From there, you should have more than enough free time to give them a shot. Have a nice day.

I've seen some posters say we still shouldn't extend Lamar I just don't see it what else does he have to prove? This dude put the team on his back for the second half of the season and in the titans game. I truly believe we just need an Allen Robinson type of reciver opposite of hollywood to actually scare teams and give Lamar someone who will consistently get open. This also obviously will help Hollywood and Mark Andrews get open more often also. I just don't understand how people can still say Lamar is the problem or we should wait to pay him. This dude has done so much and is so good

Some people are emotional but it’s clear Lamar is in our long term plans. The only way and reason you don’t extend hi is if you’re at all hesitant about keeping him. Now is the best time to buy though

As I will continue to reiterate, Lamar should consider getting into real estate post-NFL career because how much real estate he owns in people's heads. RENT FREE.

I mean, I get it, it's a debate show, but Lamar's not in the Super Bowl nor did he play in the AFC Championship. I just don't get going from the topic of Lamar getting an extension to how many QBs would you take over Lamar.

Is it just me or do people need to calm down on Justin Herbert until he's shown it next season? Baker Mayfield also broke the rookie touchdown pass record and look how that went.

32 points and 7 turnovers in 3 playoff losses. Quality player , but a lot of growth needed before we lock this guy in for 40m a year.

Is it the best time to buy? COVID caused a decline in the salary cap and world health experts predict we won’t be back to normal until spring 2022. Vaccine roll out has been plagued with issues both state and federally, so a delay in that normality would not be surprising. Next year the cap lowers again. Lamar plays on a 21 million 5th year option and we negotiate a contract based on current market value at the time.

also how is this a good reason not to pay him... the first 5 guys are all guys who've been paid already, the 6th guy was drafted in the same class as him (and they'll both likely get paid basically at the same time) and the 7th guy is a rookie who did really well but led a team to a losing record... and maybe that continues but that's ridiculous lol

the suggestion seems to be that only 6 or 7 QBs should be paid in the NFL at any point in time which is patently ridiculous - otherwise why is his ranking of lamar in any way relevant lol...

You’re an absolute fool if you pay him this off-season when there are still years (yes, YEARS) still remaining on his contract. He needs to show he can get it done in the playoffs. His playoff stats, even in his win against TN, are abysmal. Defenses keep adjusting, he starts losing even an ounce or two of athleticism, and he doesn’t improve quite a bit in his passing and you’re staring right at Cam Newton performance
