Ravens Ring of Honor
I am 100% confident Wentz will be better in Indy than Philly. The question is how much. I can't see Indy has like an elite group of weapons, because they don't. And Hilton may not even return.I do wonder if Wentz could return to form under Reich and a much better offensive line who only has to replace a retiring Anthony Castonzo. The Eagles gave up a league high 65 sacks in 2020 while the Colts only gave up 21 with old man Rivers under center. We saw Mahomes crumble without his two starting offensive tackles in the Super Bowl, how much of Wentz's downfall was the product of his offensive line? We all thought Tom Brady was done for when he only needed some receivers which he got in Tampa and New England didn't give him. Perhaps Wentz is the next Tannehill?
That being said... even with a ? at LT, they'll have qualify Oline play, they can obviously run the ball, and they'll have a pretty good defense. He may ended up falling into much more of a "game manager" type role, as I can't imagine Indy wants him throwing it 40+ times a game. But I think you'll see a much improved player.
