Although I liked the thought of picking Tevin Jenkins, I saw that as moving lateral. Picking Oweh gives a chance to get better.

So 5 sacks in 2 years as a pass rusher? A position that we really need. Im not mad at the pick cause i know we will find a place for him but 0 sacks and still ended up going in 1st?.. we must see no bad habits in this guy and plan on turning him into something great
yeah but he's got a ton of disruptive plays all over his film - and because of those 5 sacks in 2019, he constantly had extra protection and attention rolled his way in 2020
you still want him to beat that but he's not really been playing football that long - he's super raw and doesn't have the refinement yet as a pass rusher
he also had a couple of sacks his first year at penn st too in 2018

Still hilarious seeing people ignoring disruption on film and what pretty much all the draft gurus are saying, let alone the fact that our team has always been pretty damn good at finding talent on defense in the first round, and sticking to that whole “BuT nO SaCKs mAn!!!”... damn dude. We have Wink who will absolutely make something out of this guy. Rob Ryan as a DC may be a complete joke, but he’s aggressive and can probably get a mean streak in him as well.
The guy has a VERY high motor so it’s not the Clowney situation where he’s an athletic freak but will never meet his potential simply for lack of giving a damn. He also isn’t the Tim Williams/Robert Ndemikeche’s of the world who are just plain too stupid and immature to make something of himself. We found a diamond who is a bit unrefined right now, but we absolutely have the fire (and he does too) to get that diamond looking SHINY and flashy

Except when said project happens to play defense and our defensive picks in the first round usually become pretty damn good players. With Wink this guy will develop into a monster. This isn’t Pees trying to bring him along
lets just say all teams ran on different turf and he tested at 4.39, but was expecting 4.43.
4.42 is the average, btw so his speed is fine. I'm glad we finally drafted someone who is a good route runner.

Ohhh, I was like wait, I certainly have never said to turn OO into a safety... lol but yeah that was crazy stuff back then. I’m glad he’s turned out to be a pro bowl CB for us, we certainly ended up needing him much more than we thought before.
he’s been weirdly low on Bateman the whole way through the process
