Pretty sure when we went 1-4 after a 5-1 start post-bye last year pretty much everybody was losing their minds.
Lose to Pittsburgh and Tennessee at home (two playoff teams) and lose to NE on the road before COVID hits.
Won five straight after and a playoff game.
I'm certainly not throwing in the towel at 0-2.

On defense we gotta stick with 4 man passrushes and stick with stronger coverages and get your hands up. Rotate a lot on dline keeping everybody fresh. Leave a spy (Clark or Queen) who can also keep an eye on flareouts. 6 men need to stay in cover at all times and this negates the lining up on scrimmage and backpedalling when calling coverage. You're not going to fool a guy of Mahomes's caliber so instead of showing all out blitzes and saying figger who's coming play the pass instead and make the sure tackle. We will give up 1st downs but we can also feed on mistakes. We need at least a 2 turnover advantage to win this game.

1. This “group” or chat or forum or whatever is pretty great. Some of the insight you guys provide is awesome. Especially for someone like me who doesn’t have the time and has to go home and wrestle two five years olds every day after work.
2. Not liking the negativity this week. I know Monday was rough, but it was close game and we’re still working out the kinks.
3. If we can establish the run game and dominate time of possession we got a chance.
4. I don’t care how much it hurts I’m going to get my hopes for Sunday night! Bourbon on ice , let’s go!

its one game but its a game we shouldve won.. our schedule is not easy.. we shouldnt be losing to teams like raiders

Way too early, but do you reckon there's a chance we trade for a RT from a team heading into a rebuild say a couple of months from now. I could imagine a quality OL being happy enough about leaving a weaker team for a team that is hopefully playoff bound and who OL love to play for that they would consider signing for not much money for the rest of the season. Plus we'd be a little way into the season so you wouldn't have to pay them as much.
I'm not sure what kind of pick compensation that would cost, but EDC has shown himself to be quite the salesman. Maybe a 5th?

I don't know how good the Raiders will be. If they were a playoff team it wouldn't surprise me. Everything you're thinking is based on last year.
