Does this mean Westry is done for the year, or they don't like what they saw from Averett?

Workout was likely in the works prior to Monday with Covid protocols. Not a reaction to Averett at all and it sounds like Westry is still a few weeks away. We're just light on depth at CB... only 4 on the roster and 2 on the PS, one of which is currently hurt.

We need these siie guys to work on getting LJ(Fort) off of IR. ;-)
I think the impact of losing him has been way understated.

he's on season ending i/r - even if he could come back physically, he cant
My man Tank out here thinking the power of the #SIIE can cure season ending injuries and probably even cancer. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking around the league for trade partners for inexpensive but decent linebackers and I came across a possibility. The Houston Texans have Christian Kirksey on an inexpensive one year deal. His base salary is 1.5 million and if he was interested we could extend him as well as long as the Texans would be interested in a draft pick.

Thoughts?
I like that. unless if queen somehow really turns it around, he is a major liability that will get us murdered against the browns rushing attack.

Zach Ertz expected to be traded this week. I'm assuming Ertz is out of the question with our our cap situation but he would pair well with Andrews. Also an easy upgrade over Tomlinson/Oliver.

fair deal given his contract - maxx williams going down was a sneaky loss for the cardinals

Just a shout out to Maxx... I know he never lived up to expectations here but was putting together a solid year there. Was never the same receiving threat after the knee injury but put in the work to make it as more of a blocker/hybrid guy and has made himself a pretty important piece in AZ. A real shame he has to go through another recovery process.

Their fans already doubting Orlando is the long term solution at left tackle? Does this shed more light on EDC's brilliance. Chiefs forum link below.

We all called this from the day the news broke lmao, Eric is playing 4d chess, not only took the picks but also strapped them with a LT that we were well aware wasn’t built for their style of play.

only thing that worries me is that one day FOs will wise up and learn that Eric only trades above average at best players and traded them away for huge price tags.

Yeah, I saw them proclaiming they had fleeced us when the trade was first announced. Poor EDC, just doesn't understand this whole general managing bit. If only the 1st round pick we got from them could have managed to, somehow, be a factor in the game with them...

It'll be interesting to see where they go with left tackle after this season. The alternatives of paying Brown or finding yet another option doesn't sound appealing with all they need to do on defense.

I believe it will be one of two things. They either franchise him and give him another year at left tackle or Orlando Brown has to take a one year prove it deal. I don't think there is any chance he gets the 20+m avg salary he thinks he is going to get. Not a chance.
