2022 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Only just discovered Dylan Parham. But I liked what I saw. Plus athlete with starting traits. He fared well at OG, stood out at Center at the Senior Bowl. Tested well at the Combine despite bulking up to 311. And even more intriguing was the fact that he was arguably even better at OT the year before. Worst case, he'll be able to fill in for Trent Brown if he goes down with injuries. Best case, he starts on the interior.

he was on my list of guys who i could take with my next pick - not done any more film than just the senior bowl yet on him because until he turned up at the combine at 311 he looked to me like the kind of guy who might be great but wouldnt be on the ravens board

i forget that the non-power 5 kids are more likely to be able to gain weight and explosion post-college unlike the SEC and big-10 and big-12 guys who are likely to have been involved in elite training regimes and may be more "maxed out" in terms of their weight and frame and muscle mass

Parham was also one of my possibilities coming up. I'm to the point where I'm just drafting guys I like now and he's definitely one of them.

Similar to the deal Truth just made though, the Browns are throwing 3.35 and 6.14 to get up as far as I can pending my guy being available. Shoot me a PM if you're interested in moving back a tad.

Participation in this game is a clause in our friendship contract.
the only game we had when I was a Skins fan was the annual or should I say twice annual when i would wear a Giants jersey because I would lose a bet. You move back to NY and the Giants suck again. Now how fair is that.

I seem to recall wearing the Cooley jersey a couple times, lol. But yeah that was during that run of the Giants' dominance over the Skins. You did get to know that Sehorn jersey really well.

Edit: or was it the Armstead?

Alex Wright is a bit developmental but one of the more exciting edge guys in the class outside of the top 8
felt like he was too good to pass up here despite not having a crazy need

I figured he could go soon. How did he look at the Senior Bowl? I've actually only seen the game tape. Agreed there.

That's a solid point, for sure. And I was worried about the 285. It was just before I made the pick that I saw that he gained 16 lbs. Fully echo your concerns in general about players potentially being maxed out.
