The Lamar, The Defence and The Injuries (again)

Well the way Lamar is playing, if EDC doesn’t want to pay the man the guaranteed money he is going to want, on the bright side, the Ravens should get a lot of #1 picks for him in a trade.

Reporter; “Are the Ravens going to go after a free agent wide receiver to replace Marquise?”
Harbaugh; “We like our guys and think we’ll be OK”

Yowzer, we OK.
If feels good! Bateman, Duv, and Andrews are making great plays!

I might be in the minority but I don't see Proche playing much going forward. Doesn't offer enough on STs which is why Wallace and now Webb are up over him.

For this to be true, Webb would have to be signed to the 53 and I don't see that happening at all

idk that webb's special teams is valued highly enough - i think it's a bonus when they elevate him but idk that he's a good enough special teamer to get activated solely for that... maybe im wrong

idk, i just cant possibly imagine that one injury just before preseason and the signing of demarcus robinson can completely erase proche's role in the offence which was clearly, pre-injury, expected to be substantial

I'd guess he'll be on the 53 sooner or later in all honesty. The room is there and if they value him as a STer that can provide cover at a weaker position...

I just don't think this is all injury related. Think that's playing some part but I also just don't think they place a high value on him. Don't think he's destined for the back end of the roster and think he'll get an opportunity eventually, but just don't see him playing any sort of significant role.

We'll see probably pretty soon. Especially if Pierce goes to IR
I don't think it's necessarily imminent for what it's worth. Think they'll use his last callup first and might even skip a couple of weeks to provide cover for these other positions that are being decimated. But think he'll exhaust all of his callups and I'm guessing they'll opt to keep him in the fold "permanently" at some point this year.

I would love to see Patrick Ricard used more in Roman’s game plans. He is not used much but when he is, he usually makes the most of his limited opportunities. Anyone else agree?

very much disagree - last week he had more snaps than any skill position player other than mark andrews (more than bateman, more than duvernay, more than any of the RBs or non-Andrews TEs)

this week he was constantly in the game and used all over the place - and even had a 12yd reception drawn up for him off play-action on a drive that led to a TD

he's being used well and an appropriate amount - he was one of the guys they used to help out faalele when he was struggling early too
