I unfortunately lost my wife at the young age of 49 due to a heart attack Sun night that was unexpected. I'm not looking for condolences or anything since I know they're uncomfortable but my main message is to always make sure you love and give your spouse a hug since you may not get another chance

Oh my.......So sorry for your loss Will. My prayers are with you and your family.

Thanks guys. I'm really thankful it was quick for her and luckily I'm getting a lot of support from friends and family but now dealing with this I'll never take anybodys loss lightly especially spouse or child cuz its a very painful experience.

You're a very lucky man. Today is the funeral and its been a trying week where I've maybe had 5 hrs sleep. We were together 23 yrs married 15 and totally had plans on how we were gonna retire and all that stuff. Right now my house empty and it sucks real bad. Thanks for replying and I hope you and your wife have many more yrs together and just give her that hug everyday please and always let her know you love her.

Sorry to hear this.
It unfortunately is going to be a long long journey.
The only way to get through it is to go through it. The pain is all part of it. Embrace the mourning. It is the wage of loving.

That sure is the truth. There's some moments where I'm feeling fine and then the next thing your hit with a bag of bricks and yes I wouldn't be surprized if this lasted years. Its just harder I believe when its unexpected like that. The funeral went well and I actually grew a set and spoke in front of a lot of people about how wonderful Dee was especially her smile and different parts of my life journey with her. I also got some great pictures to hang which I'll do tomorrow so I can always have some cool memories.

Pretty soon I'll return to help take on those liberals again. Basically all I know right now is the shooting of the senator and Trump scaling back the Cuba agreement. Hey didn't we sign Jeremy Maclin

I am so sorry, I have been away and without internet since the 16th and I just read your post. God bless you and your family during this most difficult time. I will put you on my prayer list starting tonight. Again, I am so very sorry brother.

First, sorry to hear about your loss. My deepest condolences. Secondly, thanks for the inspiration for those of us (like myself) who still have our wives with us. Life is too short! It's fragile and we must make the most of our time with one another. My wife and I got married when I was 18 and she was 20.

We've been married for 33 years now and we have 2 wonderful "grown" children and 2 gorgeous "grand candies" (grand kids). I am thankful and grateful to the Lord each and every day for having someone so beautiful (inside and out), loving and caring to share my life with.

Thanks for the reminder Will.

Its really the message I'm trying to send. My wife was down in the laundry room and basically I just yelled down I was gonna move some trailers and just to give me a call when she arrived at her friends there. I did hear from her when she got there but it bothers me I didn't hug and kiss her one last time but at least we said love ya on the phone which is the last thing I told her so that makes me feel better . I just want people to know not to take things for granted which I feel like I did way too much.
