Yeah Ali isn't doing anything extraordinary, but he's a lot more decisive and it feels like it's highlighting his skillset finally

I'm doubting any of the reserve LBs play enough snaps to really matter. They're going to rotate them as needed. It's a starter role on paper and to start a game only really. They're gonna load the field with DBs.

Partially yeah, he's definitely not where they had hoped he'd be. But they also don't really care strongly about who LB2 is - they view it as a part time role.

For what it's worth, I've heard Simpson is of the Arthur Brown ilk to some extent - all of the physical traits you want but the mental just hasn't gotten there.
