Next Up: vs Texans

Looking at injuries and potential replacements...

QB: Lamar is probably a question mark. If he's out, Rush starts and Huntley gets elevated

FB: Ricard is probably out again, but ZMP is officially on the 53 now

OT: Stanley is probably a question mark. If he's out, Noteboom starts and Vinson is probably active for the 1st time

DL: Jones is probably a question mark. If he's good, you only need to elevate one guy. If he's not, you probably need to elevate 2 and need a roster spot pending a QB decision

OLB: Van Noy seems to be nearing a return, which pushes Ojabo back to street clothes

ILB: Roquan is probably a question mark, but you likely absorb that with the other 4 on the roster currently

CB: Humphrey and Wiggins are both questions marks. Alexander is probably active again for the first time and then you have some questions to answer. That leaves you with only 4 CBs active if you make no other moves. Do you elevate Robinson? That would leave roster construction concerns as noted above. Do you trust Lowery as an emergency CB?

I don't think a lot of people realize how bad the Texans are. We should be able to beat them, maybe even without Lamar. Rams is a lock as a loss, so I think we let Lamar sleep the next 3 weeks

Haha we won't, they are going to destroy us, but cj is going to throw 2 picks and Henry will eat. I had a vision.

Does anyone know what's going on with Wiggins? Kinda weird we haven't heard much on it, esp when it seemed like a broken or dislocated bone
This team getting ints vs anyone other than flacco? Gonna be tough

I’m not ready to pencil in the Rams as an auto loss yet, let’s see what fight we get out of the team this week. I think we’ve gotten too negative. Then again, the whole defense is out and we sucked when they weren’t so I guess I do understand it and I’m honestly trying to gaslight myself because how is our season already over not even 4 games into the year when we were supposed to be the 2 seed.

Did a couple bets and one of them was ravens to beat lions in SB at +5k odds.. they offered me a cash out of $35 when i betted 50….. im assuming vegas still thinks we have chance cause them offering a cash out is weird

Man against verse and them guys? Shit gonna be tough

I mentioned maliek collins a little before the season and yea dudes beast.. crazy pressures vs us and killed the packers. Why did the cowboys let him go in the first place

Just saw a Texans highlight where four of their offensive linemen blocked one single DT, letting another go clean through the middle. Stroud got like two steps into his drop back before getting sacked.

This game is just gonna be whose o-line shits the bed less.

unfortunately we don't have a DL to take advantage, while they've got a DL that doesn't need the advantage

Ravens aren't dead yet. Prior to the Chiefs game, the offense was doing very well generating points and it was done with a Lamar that was not taking off (that is a great sign by the way for what his future might look like when the time comes that he slows down) Lamar is leading the league right now with 10 passing tds so far.

You have to believe that the defense at some point is going to settle in, whether it's a coaching change or not.

I don't think we're dead at 1-5.
I'm assuming that basically everybody except for Mads will be back post-bye. Maybe that's not true, but we're basically talking close to a month away at this point.
Post-bye, its an extremely favorable schedule if Lamar is playing. Could easily win 6 straight post bye alone.

only thing that keeps us remotely in the hunt at 1-5 is the burrow injury and the mediocrity of the steelers

Not sure if it was discussed before but what is the deal with David Ojabo's playing time?

what about it?
he played 20% of the snaps last week and 10% the week before...
he's clearly the 5th EDGE on the depth chart

i will say that it's crazy that Tavius Robinson is playing 80% of the snaps and that Mike Green has the 2nd most snaps at EDGE each week...
Oweh's stupid bulk up has clearly not helped him lol

Defense will come together when we play bad qbs or offenses and it will have everyone fooled! Tbh, i dont think there is nothing to come together! Our pass rushers are simply not good so unless orr gonna come around with some new schemes or mike green emerges, its not gonna change. Also, our run defense has likely taken a hit for the rest of the season.

As Zrebiec alluded to, they're going to probably need to put somebody on IR this weekend. At least one, maybe two. I'd say Wiggins is the most likely.

7 inactives. With no IR designations, Lamar, Ricard, Roquan, Marlon and Wiggins would likely be five of them. Stanley would be the 6th if he can't play. That assumes that everybody else, including Jones, Van Noy, Awuzie (didn't practice today) all play.

Running out of bodies to find 48 in there, and you'll definitely need elevations in the secondary.

Yep looking like you're going to need QB, DL, and CB at a minimum. Looks like that only necessitates 1 move thankfully, but it looks like an 'if you're healthy you're playing' type of week.

Did I read that Wiggins is wearing a sling ? Why do we always have awful injury years, and our best injury years still involve losing the best weapon right before the playoffs 2019,2023,2024.

on that basis...

seems like wiggins is the obvious candidate

no idea why harbs wants to be so unnecessarily weird and cryptic about it though... just needlessly riling
