of the available options in this cycle, i think he's clearly the biggest difference maker from a schematic and system standpoint

if he was an offensive guy, i think this would have been a no-brainer obvious hire for everyone from the outset

obviously the OC matters but they've picked a guy who's a true disciple of that macdonald defensive system who's also creative in tailoring and adapting that system

but he has a similar superpower to macdonald in that he can make complex defences simple to learn and execute for his players

Yep thats why it was either him or kubiak for me.. both basically got history here. Kubiak dad along with mcdonald letting him know about the franchise.. both good coordinators..

Happy with Minter. I like his defense, I like that he is able to elevate his players and improve them. That is the sign of a good coach.

Really hope he gets his staff right. I will be annoyed if we keep a lot of Harbaugh guys around.
