And to add, they'd much rather have Maxx Crosby on their roster tomorrow than the picks. They're pissed they lost out on a premiere player. But yeah I think they probably accept the risk to some extent if the return was lesser. Don't know what that line is but it seems they just were not comfortable with the risk relative to the cost.

I respect your opinion, but I just disagree. Ive put my thoughts in the other messages. It's ok that we don't see eye to eye on this.

I hope more clarity comes from more reporting in the coming days.

Both can be true. I don’t think DeCosta had remorse over trading the 1st round picks as much as he did the risk of getting it all confirmed. You don’t make that trade if you’re not prepared to go all in. We weren’t aggressive in FA but we could’ve made anything happen we wanted, even the crazy Linderbaum deal. It’s all doable if you want to do it.

Oh I don’t disagree. I’m sure when we evaluated him it brought up questions and maybe long term ones that we weren’t comfortable with and that led to it. I do believe if the price was less (i.e., not 2x 1st round picks) we would’ve still made the move.
 
In 2005, the Ravens wanted to sign Roberto Garza, but they flagged him for not having an ACL.

He would sign with the Bears and helped anchor their line until 2014.

The head physician in 2005 was Dr. Andrew Tucker. The current Chief Medical Officer is Dr. Andrew Tucker.

The Ravens previously backed out of deals with Ryan Grant and Michael Brockers due to failed physicals.

In the case of Grant, he played 16 games and then his career ended. For Brockers, he played two more full seasons and retired after one partial season.
