Lowkey a great haul… future looks bright. Just need a new HC and QB.

Respect what they doing. OL built. Now add the weapons. Get the Qb next year. And now you dont have to be desperate. Dont like what's there keep adding pieces or go defense.

McDonald going to Arizona I think

Not a huge Boston guy but at that value he gives us a different dimension. Young has the physicals I want, lot of other good pass rushers but all with size questions.

i came around on boston late in the process (was all the way out on him for most of it) - but he's a looser athlete who separates on tape a lot better than it initially seems

he is more like what the bills were hoping keon coleman would become (not saying the outcome will be the same, i was so low on coleman)

What do you dislike about Boston? I’d be good with him here on the 2nd, although I do have concerns about how he’ll fit with Lamar.

Guys high on the consensus board that i hope we avoid at their projected ranking on day 2:

Anthony Hill Jr , LB (49 on the consensus board) - 138 on my board (4th round grade)
Gabe Jacas, EDGE (50) - 86 (3rd round)
Keith Abney II, DB (61) - 95 (3rd round)
Derrick Moore, EDGE (63) - 128 (4th round)
Zachariah Branch, WR (64) - 120 (4th round)
Gennings Dunker, OL (65) - 112 (4th round)
Caleb Tiernan, OL (67) - 111 (4th round)
Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE (72) - 146 (4th round)
Malachi Fields, WR (73) - 151 (5th round)
Mike Washington Jr, RB (74) - 140 (4th round)
Romello Height, EDGE (78) - 127 (4th round - I do really like him but he’s just too small to be a starting EDGE and I can’t draft that guy on day 2 for this team)
Davison Igbinosun, CB (81) - 159 (5th round)
Gracen Halton, DT (83) - 121 (4th round)
Skyler Bell, WR (84) - 168 (5th round)
Chandler Rivers, DB (86) - 119 (4th round)
Kamari Ramsey, S (92) - 139 (4th round)

Potential targets at each of our day 2 picks that i'd be really excited about if they're available (given drafting Vega already):

45:
Jermod McCoy, CB (if you're ok taking the risk on his knee)
Denzel Boston, WR
Christen Miller, DT
Kayden McDonald, DT
Zion Young, EDGE
TJ Parker, EDGE
Chris Bell, WR

80:
Eli Raridon, TE
Tyler Onyedim, DT
De'Zhaun Stribling, WR
Malik Muhammad, CB
Oscar Delp, TE
Sam Hecht, C
Jake Slaughter, C
Germie Bernard, WR

guys i have highly rated at guard who we probably shouldnt be targeting but i like regardless:
Chase Bisontis
Emmanuel Pregnon
Billy Schrauth

I will root for your recommendations tonight! Let’s go!

I've been kind of lukewarm on him through the process but may have found myself turning a corner on Denzel Boston this morning. I've been privately preaching focusing on what a guy can do vs. what we can't do, and I think I was ignoring myself and focusing on the latter. He's not the big lumbering slow guy that I thought.

He doesn't look lumbering or slow to me. He looks like weak and skinny. He reminds me SLIGHTLY of Quentin Johnston but less athletic. I'd hard pass on Boston.

At least we didnt draft ty Simpson as a favor for a friend.

I don't understand the hate on that pick at all. Stafford's 38. He's had back problems. The rams usually dont even take a 1st rdr. They took the Qb mcvay wants to start 2-3 yrs down the line. Might be my fave pick of the draft.

Because you could argue now was the time to capitalize on the last year or two of Stafford’s career to try to get a Super Bowl. That and McVay was clearly not on board

I personally really don’t see it with Simpson, I don’t think 3-4 years down the line he’s the guy they’ll want replacing Stafford.

And I think McVay agrees
