Just imagine if we were able to also keep zadarius smith and he was playing for us like he is for GB...
You could literally just send the Lombardi to Baltimore if he was here
More Gridiron Heights featuring the Llama.
We signed OL Andre smith. He hasn’t had any history at guard has he? He seems like the type that could make the transition. Interesting move that I think has no impact on these playoffs but potentially impacts next season
Tony Romo of CBS becomes an intriguing candidate for the gig, given that he’s due to be a free agent after the season. That said, the bloom has seemingly faded a bit for Romo, who at times seems disinterested — or at least not as interested as he should be.
Big Changes coming to MNF, per PFT
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/01/08/monday-night-football-is-getting-a-new-producer/
from the article (does anyone believe Romo sounds disinterested, I certainly don't.
yeah, I never understood Kornheiser at all. Might as well bring Joe Theisman back. He's better than the recent guys they have had and that's not saying much at all. Hell Carot Top was better than a lot of them.Thank god about MNF, Thursday night football felt better this year, like production wise, it felt more professional. ESPN has been really bad with MNF for a while now. The intro songs have been cringe as fuck for a long time, the Jason derulo and Florida Georgia line intro was the absolute worst thing I had ever seen, seeing that dickbags strained face as he lip synced “LET THE GAMES BEGEEEEYIN” made me wanna change the channel. The hank Williams intro isn’t much better with him just talking through half of it.
then you got the black and neon green bars across the screen at the bottom, looks like what you’d see in the 90s if they had the production tech to do whatever they wanted.
And then where they’ve maybe done their absolute worst... the commentators. Holy shit. Tessitore has been ok, boogers energy is good but he’s just dumb as fuck. Witten was the worst I had ever seen. Gruden was solid, I was one of the few who liked him. I remember tony kornheiser was the guy for a long time and holy shit he was a disaster as well.
ESPN has made one disastrous choice after another on literally every aspect of MNF, it feels like low budget public access shit. I really hope these changes make a difference
and I used to hate Phil Simms. I'm sure you can figure out why.Phil Simms is the man, he’s the best analyst I’ve seen in a long time.
Not sure if this has been posted, but I read in the Athletic that Jimmy Smith said he is willing to do whatever it takes to stay in Baltimore. He feels this is home. Certainly sounds like he is willing to take a discount and I've been saying for a while he will probably take 7 to 8m per season on a two year deal.
