Senior Bowl Thread

Well Ben Bartch is an interesting prospect - got really nice tools and some football iq stuff that suggests he's going to be really coachable - deep sleeper type prospect who could make some moves up lots of teams draft boards with a good showing this week

Watching vochs OL v DL and I just wanna point out that someone mentioned leverage as a concern for javon kinlaw, but he went against that short stocky LSU guard and had helmet lower than the guards pads and he put him on skates. Javon kinlaw is 6’6” with ridiculously low pad level and he uses every bit of that length to generate a shitload of drive.

would like to see him not just take the guys chest though and maybe look to disengage - but yeah there was no leverage issue on either of his 2 rushes

had the best rush on voch's OL vs DL video of anyone and it came rushing at EDGE against a tackle - go figure - gonna have to go back to the tape on him because im a lot more excited about him now - had a really nice plan on all 3 of his rushes - some nice technique and refinement to go along with the athleticism too

had a nice variety of moves as well.

well the wrs are putting on a clinic so far in the senior bowl:

some standouts ive noted: denzel mims, KJ hill, chase claypool, michael pittman jr, van jefferson

some standouts at other positions (either guys ive already done some tape on or guys who have put themselves on my radar at least for a look): marlon davidson, josiah coatney, jonathan greenard, matt peart, ben bartch, lloyd cushenberry iii

Yeah he’s god some developing to do, but he’s one of the more naturally gifted 3techs I’ve seen

just something to keep an eye on - kinlaw not participating in the rest of the senior bowl activities (including the game) because of tendinitis in his knee - just being cautious with it etc. for obvious reasons but something to make sure it gets checked properly at the combine to see if its going to recur or anything

senior bowl practices being broadcast live properly today so will actually be able to watch more than just DJ and andrew siciliano interviewing qbs and jim nagy with maybe 5 total minutes of 1v1 drills

Yeah that was me. Hey if he can do it, which it looks like he can, then that's gravy. Unfortunately, all that gravy is going to get him picked top 20.

been impressed with both of the LSU IOL guys - Damien Lewis and Lloyd Cushenberry III - Lewis has probably been the standout interior guy all week so far

we're probably going to see around 20 wrs going in the first 2 days

Mims is absolutely dominating

matt patricia clearly has fallen in love a bit with jason strowbridge

we're in the 2 minute drills - and so far both 2 minute drills (with different qbs) have ended with INTs - one by malik harrison (didnt catch who had the second one)

Why do they keep inviting bad Qbs? If you're trash in college you'll be trash in the nfl.

there arent that many good senior qbs coming out every year - the south group is at least better than the north group at qb but patterson and gordon are trash

so we didnt get to see a huge amount of DL or OL in the practice today - cameras focussed mainly on the receivers - KJ Hill and Denzel Mims the standouts again but AGG did some nice things also - important note Michael Pittman Jr has (like Javon Kinlaw) pulled out of the rest of the senior bowl

Malik Harrison had the pick on the defensive side and Javaris Davis had the best day of all the DBs

North practices now done - South will start in about half an hour

Ben Bartch has had himself a week - day 1 he put himself on the map, by day 3 he looks like he's going to be thought of among some of the better OL prospects in the draft and up there with the best OL in the class - he and Cushenberry have probably had the best showing of any of the OL this week - and Cushenberry might be the best center in the class from what ive seen so far

someone needs to put something in his drink. Bet sledge knows where he works out...

I really like Mims, Cushenberry, Davidson, and Hill. I’m thinking we will come away with one of them
