Also, if we do trade Judon and Clowney is gone, there's always Leonard Floyd who I really like. Another long, quick guy
leonard floyd was signed already lol

FMLJust signed with the Rams
I hate everyoneleonard floyd was signed already lol
But you would agree that Clowney would be a massive upgrade, right?nah
i don't see floyd or fowler as any better or worse than judon. Judon might be slightly better than them both IMO

Clowney wants 23-25mil annually I bet. We backloaded Brockers contract. And Stanley and Humphrey are up next. I can’t see how we can afford him.
You'll spend a decade trying to draft a better Corner than Marlon.Im all for stanley getting massive money
I think we can live without humphrey. We can draft his replacement. He is not worth the crazy contract he'd be getting.

Luckily, there's no chance the FO views him as anywhere near as expendable.
Funny thing is... a "crazy contract" that Marlon would get is about on par with what we are or will pay Judon. Marlon is a LOT more valuable than Judon in my eyes.
Although I'd much rather have them locked up long-term, I'm not super concerned because I think both Stanley and Humphrey will be Franchise Tag candidates. Stanley for 2 more years and Humphrey for 3 in that case. Heavy cap lifts of course but I can't imagine us letting either of them walk if we can't get an extension done.
no way we let them leave at all - and tbh i think especially in stanley's case we're not going to waste time pretending that we're not going to make him the highest paid tackle in the league - we'll give him basically whatever he wants on a contract within reason and be done with it - we've got an all-pro LT who's been consistently good since his rookie year and got better every season and is now the best LT in the league and is still only 26 years old - he knows he's all these things, the ravens know he's all these things - the only thing that would throw a contract next offseason in doubt is whether the salary cap goes funny and the market needs completely re-setting - even then i think we'd likely come to an agreement before the 2021 season started
Houston dropped due to drugs (marijuana if memory serves right, but I am a bit off lately...burned out studying for OSCP) and Lawson dropped due to injuries. Only Lawson is a legit comp and Houston never should’ve dropped but it is what it is. Lewis reminds me a bit of Tim Williams but I do think he’s a better version of Tim Williams. If Carl Lawson ( who was looking great before his injury) and Justin Houston can
he can
Based on what?sorry but I don't see Humphrey being anything more than good corner. He's not a top 5 corner. More like top 20.
The all seeing "eye test." And then he's a pessimist, so drop him a few more slots for good measure.Based on what?
Based on what?
The problem with the eye test is that most people's eyes lie to them, and most people don't know what they're looking at when they use their eyes.Yup..Eye test. He's too easily beaten on big plays and doesn't make enough plays on the ball. That's fine but that doesn;t make you a top 5 corner
