we're still weak in the slot if tavon goes down because while marlon's an all-pro he's not the most natural slot corner but he would be the first choice to play there if tavon did get an injury

if a slot corner like amik robertson, darnay holmes or josiah scott were somehow available in the 4th round that would be a great get and they get to compete with iman marshall and anthony averett for a spot - my guess is averett's the most on the bubble CB because he's further into his career than marshall and marshall also adds more value on special teams i think

Right but key thing right there is them being able to wait to round 4 to take a corner. It sure is nice to have that flexibility in the draft.

oh absolutely - even if a CB was BPA in the first couple of rounds there's no way we take them unless it's an elite talent or a massive massive fall to our pick - and even then we still might trade back in that instance...

at this point the only corner i'd want before the 106 pick is CJ Henderson if he magically fell to 28 and there wasnt a similar rated player at a different position

Tavon is a bit of a meh mystery to me. Solid rookie year, injured, back and average for a season, then injured again and now back again
I can't say i've ever been a fan and i think he's been overpaid and is overrated by the FO and some fans here.

Awesome news. Would still be open to a slot CB in the draft but secondary should be completely covered at this point.

That leaves OLB and ILB on defense, and I could see us retaining McPhee and Bynes/Peanut to provide some insurance there. Would also assume well look at a young DL.

On O, gotta hit OL and WR hard. TE is a day 3 problem. Wouldn’t be opposed to a RB either.

Yeah... I really don’t get the pessimism. If the Ravens don’t make another move until the draft, Id call this free agency period a success. The Ravens lost Michael Pierce, but upgraded their versatility with brockers. Campbell is an instant blue chip impact player with pass rushing ability, they retained every key defensive piece and the Ravens have an absolute bounty of picks. They will be fine and this team will be even more loaded.

I don't think Brockers improves our pass rush much at all. We're putting a lot of pressure on a 34 year old Campbell to basically be the difference.
I still feel my idea of Hargraves, lawson and Billings > then what has been done
