Don't you think injury plays a role on how much he gets? I suppose it is the extent of injury but I think it is a factor albeit not enough to leave him without a long term deal I guess.

i think it does with lots of players but it would be ronnie's first major injury of his pro career after putting together 4+ years of exemplary work which culminated in him being an all-pro in his 4th year (and clearly the best LT in the league), one injury doesnt change those facts at all - so unless it's a clearly career threatening injury, he'd be paid basically the same regardless but maybe with some roster bonuses in year 1 in stead of some base salary (which would likely be fully guaranteed in year 1 and 2)

either way whenever he gets paid he's going to be the highest paid LT in the league injured or not

How come people are down on Justice Hill? I think he showed a lot of promise at the end of the season when he found some confidence

Super random but two safties i loved coming out was budda baker and juan thornhill.. tbh i thought budda was the only one who i knew for sure would turn into a solid player. Well him and the S from the colts.( legit cant think of his name right now)... i thought thornhill was one of the best last year and some how he fell way to 2nd and was like the 5th S taking. I feel like they both couldve been decent pick ups for us the yrs we actually needed the S help or last season when it was set that jefferson wasnt who they thought he was

To be fair a healthy Malik hooker is a stud as well, and honestly if I could choose between a healthy hooker and healthy Adams I’d be torn, I fully prefer the style of safety hooker is.

the colts defense took a sharp turn upward with hooker and Leonard emerging. Give hooker some more time and hopefully he can stay healthy and I think it’s not even gonna be question whether or not he’s a stud

was 100% with you in the draft process - i think jamal adams though as a pro has been everything you could hope for from a safety (he and derwin james among others have helped shift how i understand the safety position in the modern nfl - in previous years grant delpit would have been my number 1 safety just because of his playstyle but it's clear to me this year that Xavier McKinney is the better prospect especially with how the ravens use their safeties in wink's scheme)

Id 100% take hooker over adams if i had to choose when healthy.. was a super big fan and still is.. mf just cant stay healthy

after watching ed reed play for years and playing S and wr growing up, only one kinda S i want lol.. dam near impossible to find but i really prefer the malik hookers, prime earl and weddle over the adams and james types.
