Welcome to Baltimore: RB JK Dobbins (55)

Welcome to Baltimore Dobbins.

I have to be honest though, I would much rather see this pick made at 60. Mims would have been well worth 55 and I'm confident Dobbins would be there at 60. Sometimes you got to break old trends.

Our offense collapsed without Ingram, who is probably in his last year with us. This was more of a need than people gave credit. Dobbins is a legit feature back that will carry the load of the offense sooner rather than later.

Dolphins fans are very convinced they'd have taken Dobbins just one pick later.

This pick had to be made with Lamar in mind. The combination for the zone read is going to be deadly.

And dont forget Dobbins gets Mark Ingram as a mentor

Taken from a Reddit comment:

look at his stats against top run defenses:

172 rush yards vs. Michigan State's No. 4 ranked rush D

163 vs. Wisconsin and its top-ranked rush D

157 vs. No. 4 rush defense of Penn State

211 vs. No. 13 rush defense of Michigan

172 vs. Wisconsin’s No. 7 rush defense

174 vs. No. 9 rush D of Clemson

I know this is the most polarizing pick because its not a need but honestly I think he's going to be really fucking good for us. Once he starts getting most of the carries he'll give us more yards and rushing touchdowns than Ingram. That could happen as early as next season.

Yeah I just seen that. There's a report out there that said Miami was planning to take him. Had they been out of the equation im sure we would have waited till 60. Regardless we got a good player. I'm not upset at all by the player just wondering if we could've got him later, now it's pretty apparent that we wouldn't have.

Steelers board was pretty pissed off after this pick. They wanted him instead of Claypool.
That''s a small win, I reckon.

This pick didn’t address more pressing needs but was a low risk, high value pick. I’m excited. I see the apple has not fallen far from the tree with EDC. Lol

Good player.
Funny pick.
Exactly how I feel.

I’m warming up more to this by the minute though. Just get the star RB out of the way and stop playing around with the dixons and collins’ and gus Edwards and justice hill types, and go get someone who’s for real. Rb is a key piece for us and Ingram will likely have one strong year with us and then may take a short/cheap stay for locker room purposes because he loves it here, so we have the star rb we need for the duration of Lamar’s athletic prime
