Welcome to Baltimore: RB JK Dobbins (55)

A RB is not the position I'd hoped but JK Dobbins is for sure worthy of a 2nd round pick (just wasn't expecting it to be us).

Very much like the Queen pick yesterday, the positional value is off but the player himself you can have very few complaints about.

I have to be honest though, I would much rather see this pick made at 60. Mims would have been well worth 55 and I'm confident Dobbins would be there at 60. Sometimes you got to break old trends.

Our offense collapsed without Ingram, who is probably in his last year with us. This was more of a need than people gave credit. Dobbins is a legit feature back that will carry the load of the offense sooner rather than later.

Dolphins fans are very convinced they'd have taken Dobbins just one pick later.

and he probably has more to develop as a receiver too - potentially someone you can have line up all over the formation and have run routes

i think Ken's right

and i think according to the ravens board and despite picking at the end of round 2 - we somehow ended up with 2 1st round players

I know this is the most polarizing pick because its not a need but honestly I think he's going to be really fucking good for us. Once he starts getting most of the carries he'll give us more yards and rushing touchdowns than Ingram. That could happen as early as next season.

Yeah I just seen that. There's a report out there that said Miami was planning to take him. Had they been out of the equation im sure we would have waited till 60. Regardless we got a good player. I'm not upset at all by the player just wondering if we could've got him later, now it's pretty apparent that we wouldn't have.

Man claypool just isn’t a good prospect - just don’t get it beyond the athleticism

This pick didn’t address more pressing needs but was a low risk, high value pick. I’m excited. I see the apple has not fallen far from the tree with EDC. Lol

Exactly how I feel.

I’m warming up more to this by the minute though. Just get the star RB out of the way and stop playing around with the dixons and collins’ and gus Edwards and justice hill types, and go get someone who’s for real. Rb is a key piece for us and Ingram will likely have one strong year with us and then may take a short/cheap stay for locker room purposes because he loves it here, so we have the star rb we need for the duration of Lamar’s athletic prime
