you should play the Draft A Franchise game with us. It's posted under ravens talk.

It's alright, i'd probably forget about it and I've never been active with those kind of threads.

I suppose it's going to be really, really quiet football news wise for the next 3-4 months so I'll see how i feel in the morning. It's late here.

np, we would also keep you posted and you're given 12 hours to make a pick either way.

Titans declined corey davis’ 5th year option. I remember being super bummed when titans drafted him. Time to throw titans a 5th rounder EDC! I still belee

I prefer gallup
So do the Cowboys, which is why they'll be keeping him.

Still don't understand why people think Gallup is available. A WR core of undependable Amari Cooper and a rookie 1st round pick doesn't exactly strike fear to opposing defenses.

Gallup's under contract in Dallas through 2021. Can't think of a reason why he'd be available until after that.

And?

I'll put this out there right now:
Gallup will have more targets than Lamb will this season, barring injury.

He had almost as many targets as Cooper did last year, (on two less games), had higher yards/game, and yards/reception.

I see no reason for anybody to think Dallas is going to throw it less this year (Zeke had 300 carries last year), and on the nearly 600 pass attempts from last season, both Cobb and Witten had 83 each, and are now both on other football teams.

I think all three players will get north of 100 targets this year, barring injury.

I would sign AB to a prove it deal and tell him he's already on his second strike, any fuck ups and he's gone

I think he's already on his third strike.

You can sign him, but there's no chance he doesn't sit a minimum of 4-6 games via NFL suspension anyway.

In this offense, he's a ticking time bomb. There will be games we win easily where he's getting 4, maybe 5 targets. He's not the kind of person that's just OK with that. Winning isn't something he cares much about.

you can prefer him all you want, but the 'boys won't be getting rid of him.

Every team is going to try to mimic the Chiefs now, load up on as many weapons as possible for your QB. Sure the Lamb pick by the Cowboys was more of a middle finger to the Eagles but it does give Dak more weapons as he throws for more than 4,000 yards and the Cowboys miss the playoffs again.

I'm not even sure its about mimicking the Chiefs. Its about creating on offense that's multi-faceted, can beat you from the ground or in the air, and can dominate in a division that's not full of very competent defenses. Quite frankly, there's not a whole lot of quality defenses in the NFC as a whole to be honest.

I just assume they'll do what most teams with a highly paid QB will do in the modern NFL... load up on offensive talent to maximize his output, and then draft defense, defense, and more defense. And I think they've begun that and will continue that going forward. They're not going to need to address offense much in FA or the draft in the next year or two.

No doubt - one ball and a lot of mouths to feed. AB is a prima donna among prima donnas. We don't need him to be all love on the way in and then up in Lamar's or Roman's grill about whatever pissed him off today and then air the dirt on social media after.

We won a lot last year and if anyone cares to notice, a big part of that was team chemistry and just having fun. We have potentially capable guys on offense that need a chance to grow and I believe can grow in a good environment. These can be low-cost quality options for years to come if they blossom. We don't need anyone coming in that will disrupt those positives.

I want no part of AB ... and fortunately for me I'll guarantee our organization feels the same way.
