Here is where you are wrong. I am not disputing what you are saying. I just refuse to watch the news right now because I am depressed as hell. I am trying to keep my mood from getting worse. Since I am not watching it I can't comment on it. If you want to watch this stuff it is your right. if police are doing it than I don't support it. I just think some of you are just not accounting for patience running to thin because of exhaustion and working conditions, but it is an argument I just don't feel like fighting about. We would just be going round and round all day. Just remember that many police are getting to their breaking point. It has been an extremely long and exhausting week. They just want this to come to an end so they can finally get home and see their wife and kids, wash up in their own shower, and get a good night sleep in their own bed. I can't justify anything but I can empathize a little. If you are not on the front lines you just can't understand how uncomfortable and frustrating it is. Your lower back, legs, and feet are screaming after a few hours on a scurmish line. You would give anything to be somewhere else. For some of the older guys it is just brutal. We wouldrather just be home on leave without pay but there is a duty to fullfil.

Seriously, I don't mind answering questions, but I rather not discuss videos that I am not watching, if that is okay. I also need to point out that I don't know what rules, regulations, and guidelines are in other agency manuals. Some department s may share them but for the most part each agency makes their own. It is the same way with training.

Let me also say that I have ran my mouth about commenting on things when you are not on the front lines or have behind the scene information. I also admit, I am not African American and I have not walked a mile in the shoes of someone that is African American. Therefore, I have no problem with a peaceful protest. I think the Rodney King beating was disgraceful as hell and believe that race played a part in it. Changes needed to be made and some still do. We should be discussing it. Let's just hold off a little longer on a war and keep things peaceful. I have read comments on social media that suggest that this current situation is creating a big divide again. I just don't want to see things get set back 30 years. I also don't want to see police officers so restricted on what they can and cannot do that criminals are so empowered that neighborhoods are living in way more fear and we have even more innocent victims suffering as a result.

Your last sentence is what is the most important and right now they put the most biased anti police individual in Keith Ellison to look into the civil justice of the Minneapolis police dept.

When you are breaking laws its not a peaceful protest. Curfews were issued cuz of what was happening at nightfall. These are llegal cuz of the destruction being caused. Also you are not supposed to be able to infringe on the freedoms of others. Blocking 2 or 3 blocks of an area is usually allowed but blocking an interstate is stopping commerce and the freedom to travel. So what is the law supposed to do? Let anarchy run wild? Make law and order weak?

Also stating before that its ok to burn down police stations and loot Targets and compare it to the Boston Tea Party is crazy. They dumped tea into the ocean. They requested several times for the ships to be turned back cuz they didnt want it with the restrictions (taxes) and were told they were gonna have to take it regardless of what they wanted. It wasnt a bunch of looting and burning down buildings. Thing is those ships made a decision to stay but the store owners/businesses had no choices.

A lot of those videos only show the segment they want you to see. Also what you're saying about Trump and the police is completely false.
Ok so they destroyed a tangible object that played a hand in their oppression, is that not what burning a police station does? Literally taking the fight right to the enemy, you don’t think protesting police brutality by burning a police station is justified? I think it’s as justified as it gets and you will not change my mind on that, until police stop fucking killing black people like it’s their job description then it’s justified

Another one is going to go up right. More police cars are going to be manufactured right. Who pays for that Joey? Also you keep making it seem like police are only out to kill black people. Can you imagine how many incidents there are a year and how many blacks suffer an unjustified death at the hands of the law. How many zeros you want to stick in front of the one to get the proper percentage?

I am not sure I talked about it much, but one video that made my blood boil watching it was when the school shooting took place in Florida and that school resource police officer stayed outside instead of going in and engaging the shooter. That piece of shit coward bastard should have been run out of town on rails.

Everyone wants the benefits of living in a society without having to pay for it. A nuanced discussion about tax is one thing, but you shouldn't have to haggle with the fire service when your house (or your neighbour's house) is burning down.

If you have THAT much of a problem with paying tax, feel free to go and make your own libertarian utopia.

ive seen that clip before and the way they talk always makes me think it's a parody - and yet it isnt...

I get what you’re saying about getting too depressed to follow, I’m getting to that point too, I had an anxiety attack last night that basically lasted for 7 hours stemming from arguing about this shit with ignorant ass family that is cheering on the beatings and flashbangs and macings and acting like it’s a conservative value because they’re so super conservative.

and if these guys are tired of this... maybe they should stop killing black people and stop violating our constitution, if the police would protest as well, the culture would do a fucking 180 in about 72 hours.

exactly - there's 2 things here that i think you say well...

1) if the police are tired of it and they dont agree with their officers getting away with stuff - they dont actually have to do the job anymore - they can always hand in their badge and their gun and quit... because the protestors aren't going to mind

and

2) it is a privilege to be able to switch away and switch off the news and detox from this movement - it is a privilege that black people don't have - they don't get to have a break from these movements because it encompasses and directs much of their experience - to be able to turn off the news and suddenly not be affected by it is a privilege that black people dont have...

and i really dont envy you having to deal with your family, dude - that's rough but you're absolutely right to challenge them and i support you in that endeavour even if it doesnt feel like you're getting anywhere - the most important thing white people like you and I can do to support the movement is to listen to black communities and to talk and challenge other white people

I have to ask, when do all people get to challenge the large amount of crime being committed in the inner cities by mainly African Americans? I don't think it is fair to just focus on one and not the other. I think it goes hand in hand. When you have 20 or more shootings a day in Baltimore City, IMHO it is more of a problem than what you perceive the police problem to be. How come you are not even talking about this even once in the last 100 posts about what is currently happening and pretending is has no correlation?

Im not bothering with your alls media anymore since most of it is propagandist trash but what if he's talking about whether they are assaulted? You guys and I see this on a constant basis are manipulated by what you are shown. Twitter is trash.

It has been shown thru statistics that blacks commit 500% more murders than whites but yet are only 13% of the population. @rossihunter2 please dont avoid @cobrajet post. Even with all that more whites get killed every year by police. Dayum!!!

One more question rossi, why do cities have to burn before the God damn facts are in?That Michael Brown shooting was completely fucking justified. Hands up Don't Shoot was a fucking complete hoax!

I tell you another thing Freddie Gray caused his own death!

it's crazy. I've explained everything and what the true issue is and people here are like heroin addicts and rather than sniff the truth they sniff the narratives thrown at them

Human beings are easily manipulated. Our society and economy was founded on manipulation.
I know it's not sexy for me to say this for the millionth time and no it's not must see TV
but this is a war on consciousness
not terror
not racism
not drugs

they are just the byproducts of the ACTUAL war which is one big distraction from the truth which is-
You're all slaves and you appointed yourselves to be slaves, whether you know it or not.

don't need divine intervention. Just the courage to see what no one is actually talking about

It starts with the first quality that is needed in order for anything to change
Courage and by courage I mean the courage to take a step back see all sides without bias and then suddenly you see none of it was what it appears to be.

People are already pre-programmed and are looking for confirmation bias and juicing.
I've never harmed anyone in my life both verbally or physically.
I didn't come from a rich background
I made a choice to do no harm but take no shit and make decisions based on intuition/experience
At an early age had a father who told me to question everything, even and most especially things that are called '''absurd'' or ridiculed. My great uncle was one of the first scientists who pleaded with the banning of asbestos for housing reasons and he told my father of the corruption of the establishment.

and I guess that just stuck with me
I can discern patterns and I talk about things that are not IN the BOX as solutions because what's in the Box is quite frankly a mess and always will be.

I hate to break to people but we have to start from scratch but nothing changes without a mindset shift that ends statism.

a lie told a million times becomes ''the truth''
that's what we're dealing with here

Hey I see what you are saying, however as a Christian with fundamental beliefs, I believe it all ends as the Bible says. I truly believe it gets worse and I wish that I had hope but unfortunately I don't.

Its either gonna be man itself or another Sodom and Gommorah. Always keep the faith and the hope.
