OK, but that's the problem.

Snyder's incompetence is well know. He knows nothing about how to identify talent, much let alone identify people who know how to identify talent. But that, in it of itself, is nowhere near a "sell the team" worthy notion.

People are merely using this as a catalyst to tie a bow around all the reason why Snyder should sell, including the fact that he literally doesn't know how to put quality product on the field. A valid problem for fans, but not anywhere near the level of "removal of power".

The one thing he does know how to do, is raise valuation, which he has done. You could argue pretty much every NFL team has done that in the last 20 years, but the Redskins are still among the top 5 most valuable NFL franchises, despite the fact that they never win anything.

For me, this article identified nothing other than what we already knew... he's incompetent, he's a bad owner, and the dream is that he sells. He's Peter Angelos, with less tenure, and is actually less of a POS.
to me valuation has very little if anything to do with wins and losses. For me it is location, location, location. Yes, Angelos is a POS, but he's not any worse than Snyder. If anything they are twins with a different mother.

Hot take: If Crockett Gillmore wasnt an injury bust he would have been a perennial pro bowl/AP type tight end.
Hot take that is in desperate need of cooling down lol.

Crockett gillmore did a great job using his length and some verticals and great ball tracking and body control to get his hands on the ball, but had a real problem with getting his hands separated from the ball by contact. If gillmore was going to be a pro bowl TE using his skill set, then the debacles that happened vs Denver and Arizona in 2015 don’t happen, and those are just the ones that stand out because they were certain game winners that he got separated from and they ended with turnovers, he had that issue more than just those 2 times, sorry but if you’re talking about a pro bowl TE who lives and dies by physicality and jump balls, then those plays need to be made.

i dont think so tbh - he was super physical which is great but he wasnt athletic enough with good enough hands or an understanding of how to get open enough to be a threat as a receiver

He was the 11th ranked TE in his sophomore season which was cut short by injury. Through 2014 and 2015 he constantly improved and broke off big games. Those are his rookie and sophomore years too so I believe he only scratched the surface.

Michael Thomas is overrated. There. Said it.
I think it depends on what you're looking for.

He doesn't rise to the level of a prime Julio Jones or AJ Green to me. They're got freakish size, good speed, and pretty much are uncoverable when they're playing well.

Thomas is one of the better route runners I've ever seen, can get open on anybody, and has great hands. He's not going to take the top off a defense, but he's as reliable a target as you can find in the league.

Agreed 100%

I wouldn’t call him overrated at all, I would just say his production may be a little inflated. Michael thomas is easily a top 5 wr in this league right now no question about it, and if I could choose anyone to complement Hollywood for this offense, Michael Thomas would seriously be in the argument.

I think he has great hands and thats it. Route running decent but from what ive seen with him, most his yards come in zone. Best route runners you ever seen? He not even in my top 5 currently in nfl. Guess ill watch a lil more

Maybe. I would suspect if NFL teams thought this way, they wouldn't play zone against the Saints. They haven't really had much talent at receiver in recent years, so one would think you could largely just double him and be successful if he's primarily a zone beater.

Plus, deathly accurate QBs like Brees, Brady, Manning, etc. pretty much made their careers owning zone defenses.

His route running is excellent, always has been, he was running nfl quality routes in college, it’s his calling card, he’s been able to separate since day 1, where he made the jump from good to elite was due to him just becoming a more quality runner with the ball in his hands and a more physical receiver which probably came naturally as he got his nfl body.

btw how you holding up with that rona?

Is there a site to find out the number of snaps a defense plays? Not a player but the entire defense.

i know this isnt what you asked but this (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/2019-snap-counts.htm) has the players snap counts as a percentage so it wouldnt take much to work out the totals off that info - also has each game's snap counts (with players) as a percentage of total by a unit so you can work out total game snap counts too

if you scroll back through jeff zrebiec's twitter you can probably find screenshots of the snap count breakdowns after each game too (again as a percentage of total snaps)

filmstudybaltimore (ken mckusick) does his own snap counts too where in his articles he'll mention the total snaps often that a unit had in each game

but otherwise im not sure if there's other options
