outside of the fan base and local media most people think very little of gus or dont even know his name, and then boom youre facing us and he rips off 8 runs of 6-10 yards in a row in the fourth quarter.

i didnt know mcphee was playing well this year, ive noticed him crashing the edge on a few runs and influencing the play, but i havent noticed him doing literally anything in the pass rush

Watt and ravens have a lot of media steam right now. I know there’s zero substance to it, but there was also zero substance to us and clowney and then outta nowhere the nfl literally intervened to prevent us from signing him

Plus Watt seems more like a guy EDC and company would want. Another veteran presence/amazing leader to team up with Calais. Would be spectacular if we could pull it off. My god.

idk - it seems like it got pulled out of nowhere - maybe there's some fire behind all this smoke but doesnt feel likely

jj watt was one of the key reasons why BOB is gone - would be weird for him to then also get axed

Contractual reasons IMO. He’s too expensive for a rebuilding team and they might want to build around Watson and the money they’d save from getting rid of Watt’s cap could help immensely

Do you guys remember when John Brown said Chris Moore was the best receiver on our team? What was that about? I don't think Smoke would be one to say that and mean it sarcastically or to have been really dumb if that makes sense. He must have seen something in him. Trust me I'm not holding out on Chris Moore coming in and doing literally anything, but I just feel like we're going to be in trouble if we don't get some consistent passing going.

I do remember that and it's quite confusing why he would say that. I feel we have enough talent in the passing game for this season with Andrew, Hollywood and Duv, but feel we need to continue playing Duv the way he was played in the last game, just give him more targets.

they invest heavily. Claypool, Diontae Johnson, Washington, Juju, Coates just to name a couple of them. Plus they know what to look for in a wr.

i dont get how i missed so bad on claypool - none of this was on the tape - he didnt look like he had the quickness that he was timed with, didnt look like he had the nouse to do anything other than be physical - i saw a boykin-like prospect

i just dont konw where this came from

with all those other guys they drafted you could see this coming - johnson, washington and juju were guys i really liked

but you're right that if you dont invest then dont expect great outcomes

I liked Claypool as a prospect, needless to say he landed in the one place I didn't want him to land.
