Man these moves got me so excited. Bye week gonna be hell suddenly
F her. I don't want to be back.lol, an apology. I'll make sure momgene knows so you can get unbanned from BR.com. lol
I'm happy to get Peters obviously, but for shiggles, imagine if we had traded for Jalen Ramsey instead last year like the "rumors" were suggesting. We'd have Jax D 2.0 here now lol
lol, you do know I'm kidding, right. I certainly have no contact with BR and have never posted since they closed down our boards.F her. I don't want to be back.
at this point, I can't imagine they don't extend him, but he can't be extended until the offseason. And you're point about that not being a top priority is a big one, because it's always hard to find a top pass rusher where we pick in the draft. Much easier for iOL and WR.with the ngakoue addition, theres something that hasnt been mentioned yet, if he is extended then edge rusher doesnt become the biggest need on the team when the draft rolls around, and realistically the only real needs SHOULD be: iOL and WR, most other picks would be adding a luxury to a strong unit. going into the draft with the fewest needs possible should be a big aim for us every offseason.
this is very true, but we would still have 3 players from the JAX defense.we wouldnt have patrick queen though
that was the cost for us - patrick queen and whoever we get in round 1 next year

I haven't done too much digging into next year's draft, but I've seen multiple people say the iOL class is strong at the top.
it appears that way, wyatt davis, creed humphrey, leatherwood is a hybrid guy who could very well find himself at G in the nfl, the jury is out on trey smith but he could be a very attractive G prospectI haven't done too much digging into next year's draft, but I've seen multiple people say the iOL class is strong at the top.
we may need a tackle if we choose not to sign Stanley. Can't see him getting out the door though, we can franchise him.there's like 4-5 guys at the top who all look like guys who have a chance to go in round 1 and off the top of my head at least a couple of tackle prospects who could slide inside in the pros
that being said its hard to feel good about any OL evaluation until you get to see the tape and i wont get a chance until the offseason
but it looks like there's going to be tons of candidates to go early or early(ish)

Im seeing Queen and Harrison as the new Patrick Willis/Navorro Bowman combo. and with the new safety tandem "The 6th's" and the long term of Humphrey and Peters. Now I'm thinking sign Bowser now to an extension its like damn this back7 is gonna be set for awhile.
i wanna see nickel with bowser on the field, like a 5-1 with bowser standing up on the edge and a safety playing the backer role. ngakoue, campbell, mcphee, judon, and bowser standing, use him for the deception, he can rush or drop very well and has to be accounted for. dangerous package in obvious pass situations, that 5 man rush would be lethal, the 4 man rush would be effective and the coverage would be lockdown, and the backer can blitz as well(seeing how elliott and clark both blitz very well).Would like to see Bowser stay depending on his price.
Really interested to see how the other rushers do with a certified threat on the other side. Think Bowser should see more snaps. Wink should be damn happy knowing he doesn't have to blitz as much and curious to see how the blitz% changes.
