We have seen the Ravens try to run screens... they dont work. Lamar has missed a LOT of throws this season, like way more than one should be comfortable with. A large of the difference is on him and him needing to make those throws.
100% with you, Lamar has to make those throws.

ugh...but this starts with receivers not getting open. Teams are basically flooding the middle of the field with defenders and we don't take advantage of it. If Roman's a good OC, he will start calling screens and run some spread concepts.

Hollywood is consistently open a lot and if he's not he's drawing safety help (still beating it often) - he and lamar just havent quite connected

Random thought: I have a feeling we’re going to go after Corey Davis in next year’s free agency market.

Seems like we always like to revisit / acquire guys we really liked in the draft, but missed out on (some ex: Marcus peters, Yannick, Dez).

I read rumors we were really interested in Davis coming out. I think everyone was shocked when he was taken 5th overall.

Titans declined his 5th year option. He didnt put up big numbers with mariota at QB. And now with AJ Brown being the WR1, Davis might be leaving.

Why ravens might be interested?
He shouldn’t cost at much as the top tier WR free-agents based on the numbers he put up. Which is good because EDC’s going to have to plan for Lamar and all the other big contracts.
Hes a great run blocking WR. Big-bodied outside WR, who doesn’t care about stats and just want to help the team win.

Sounds like a Raven to me.

We shall see. If we put some context around it...

Ravens will probably have somewhere in the neighborhood of $50-60M in cap space for next year. That's also misleading, because the Ravens have a number of very expensive players who aren't under contract. Stanley, Ngakoue, Judon are all currently UFAs, as well as guys like Skura, Jimmy Smith. Quite frankly, literally our entire pass rush are free agents next year (Ngakoue, Judon, Ward, McPhee, Bowser). Even Wolfe is a UFA.

The point being...just retaining Ngakoue and Stanley alone, which I think we would all expect we make every effort to do, could cost upwards of $35-40M or more of that cap. So then you could be down around $20M or less to spend at that point.

I don't know how expensive Corey Davis will be. He will likely be one of the better WRs to hit the open market, because very few studs ever do. I think he could certainly command $8-10M a year, or even more, on the open market. So it will just be a question of how much the Ravens are willing to pay for him, and how he fits with their overall spending strategy.

Also: Earl Thomas, Mark Ingram, Derek Wolfe, even kicked tires on Shane ray, It’s been a trend and I’m cool with it, and I definitely feel like davis was one of the ravens guys in that draft, although I’m not sure I care to pay him what hed ask for, he’s been mediocre as fuck

This post should be rewritten or edited once we know what Stanley's numbers are next year.

Had an absolutely WACK dream last night that Jaylon Ferguson started beating the shit out of a ref after a bad call. Hopefully things go a little better than my dream lol.

I get this feeling that Ferguson is gonna go off one way or another which will lead to @JoeyFlex5 saying......

ratings would be through the roof if this were happening on a regular basis. Soon the saying would be, I went to a Football game and a Fight broke out.
On some NHL type shit, I'd approve.

Speaking of which, I was watching this on YT not too long ago. Amazing fight(s).

Used to be a series here that was famous for its brawls, they used to take bets on which minute the first one would start. They started sending people off so it never happens now.
