Next Up: @ Steelers

interesting if true that this is how it spread - because Trace was the first reported positive last week and obviously is part of the QB room unless that truly is thought of separately

if they do think it spread on sunday then it may well be that we're expecting positives through friday and then hopefully we see it slow down saturday

it's been a major issue with the protocols from the beginning and they've never come up with a good solution just rolled with it

I think they need to have a week after the regular season ends which plays all the games that were cancelled due to Covid.

At this point, I've gotten numb to this season. Yeah I said that we'd win out after losing to PIT, but that was not taking the COVID effect into account. Most important is that ALL of these guys get well soon.

its hard not to draw a line between that and the multiple tweets he's sent out with this hashtag

in hindsight it does not feel like he was taking this pandemic seriously

Oof. That's not a good look. Now the question is this. Everyone probably unambiguously understands what Saunders did was wrong, but is there any fault to be given to any of the coaching staff or higher-ups in the organization for letting this happen? I just don't know. How can they mandate that someone tell the truth? Although wrong, he probably thought he was doing what was best for the team helping them prep for steelers week. Doesn't make it right but Idk that anyone could have prevented this rogue behavior

based on the timing it was more likely prep for titans week

and in terms of fault idk that it will matter - the most recent NFL memo that came out within the last 2 weeks insinuated teams might be held accountable for the failure of their employees regarding breaches to protocols

we dont know what the discipline we sent down to steve saunders was but i think it's doubtful the NFL lets us off scot-free

Yikes. That's kind of unforgivable.
A guy at my job experienced covid symptoms. Problem is, he also has terrible allergies. It didn't seem any different to him.

I don't know everyone's situation, but I personally I have bills to pay and I do not have sick leave. I have people who depend on my income. So if I get a runny nose... yes, that might be a covid symptom, but I'm not ready to crucify someone for going to work like that.

Most of the behaviors reported just really aren't that big of a deal to me since I don't know how well this man's position pays. Players are multimillionaires so easy to say "just stay home." Regular people are a different story sometimes.

That's my two cents.

The NFL needs to work on a Playoff Bubble NOW. Take both conferences, put them in two different cities so each conference would have their own bubble. Have the AFC playoffs in Jacksonville, the NFC Conference in Charlotte or something. Use the same restrictions as the NBA did with their playoff Bubble, because at this point you have to wonder if the Super Bowl is going to be delayed a week or two.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing the Super Bowl played in Early March if it is delayed. The winters are brutal up here so having football on all winter would get us through the long winter lol.

I completely agree with you that there is a big difference between the average working man and woman and professional athletes.

Of course the Super Bowl is going to get delayed. That’s ok though , the NFL has a ton of time a flexibility. No idea why they feel the need to have such a rigid structure. COVID is going to have a third and 4th wave. We won’t reach herd immunity with the vaccine until mid summer summer early fall.

I’m ok with seeing the Super Bowl in March or even April.

I’m not Ok with seeing RG3 start for the Ravens in a divisional round matchup up because the NFL is being stubborn.
