amen. RGIII is trash as f... I'd rather see a rookie instead.Bout to see how terrible rg3 is
I’ll Double down on this. With rg3 we simply can’t run our offense because bob isn’t a threat to run, and as a passer there’s literally nothing beyond extremely low end game manager, if that.I’ll take tyler Huntley over rg3 tbh

with Huntley, you at least have a gimmick to lean on for a day, hope for a spark, Huntley was a special runner in college, that’s something to lean on in hopes of a fluke day from someone with no film to study

I think RGIII has some run ability still but honestly Greg Roman can simply just shift his offense to how it was with Alex Smith.
NoIf Lamar has another season like this next year, do we give him big money on a new contract?
We likely wont even resign him if he has another season like this. I dnt think his accuracy issues can be fixed at this point tbh.i hope im wrong thoughIf Lamar has another season like this next year, do we give him big money on a new contract?
Hurts my damn heart because I love Lamar, but no.If Lamar has another season like this next year, do we give him big money on a new contract?
To @Cumberbundy do you really want break the bank for ~4000 total yards, 29 total TDs, 16 turnovers a season?
I mean, sort of.One of the knocks against Lamar has been that he can't win the so-called "big" games. After 3 straight losses, and although there are 5 games left in the season; with the Ravens sitting at 6-4 wouldn't tonight's game vs. the Cowboys be considered as a "big" game for him? I believe so cause if the Ravens lose tonight, I don't think that they'll be able to recover (psychologically) from a 4 game losing streak going down the stretch. To me, Lamar has to show up "big" tonight! I want to see the Lamar we saw last season (i.e. confident, energetic, exciting, electrifying and inspirational to his whole team). I need to see the DAWGS tonight!
I mean, sort of.
In some ways, it is. You really can't afford to be 6-6 with 4 games to go and expect to make the playoffs, especially with the large number of teams you're competing with.
That being said, there's a couple things:
1. If you were to assume that the Ravens should finish 10-6, and that it will be enough to make the playoffs, then tonight, by definition, isn't a must win game. Its among the easier games remaining on the schedule, so it should be a win, but if not, the Ravens would almost certainly still make the playoffs by winning the last four. And given their schedule, that's not that unrealistic either.
2. You've got a somewhat built in "excuse". 6 days of prep, and a litany of players coming off COVID, all of most of which have had essentially zero practice time in almost two weeks. Lamar will also still be missing his two most "reliable" pass catchers, especially in the middle of the field.
I wouldn't call the season over if we lose tonight, but we will have zero room for error going forward if we do. If we're not going to beat the good teams, which we haven't done this year basically, we can't afford to lose to the bad one's and still make the playoffs.
I think if they lose both, obviously, its over. And I wouldn't like our chances of rebounding against Cleveland with a loss tonight.I see the points you are making and understand all of them. I'm not calling the season over if the Ravens lost tonight either, however, I do feel that it would be a psychological blow to the team losing 4 games in a row. That's tough to overcome mentally and then on top of that next week they have to go into Cleveland to face a Browns team that has been improving since OBJ went down.
I'm thinking that these next 2 games vs the Cowboys and Browns will determine whether or not the Ravens will have the potential to be playoff-bound with some extra stumbling from the Raiders, Dolphins and the Colts in the process. You?
