If I have an underlying issue or someone in my immediate family does, say my children for example, and you knowingly came to work like that? Yea have issues. Real big issues.
I don't think it would be wrongful termination. Especially if they lay out clear rules and you decide not to follow them. I have seen people lose their jobs for simply not following rules regardless of how big or small.
I understand your point and the argument about COVID restrictions is really interesting from a legal standpoint. However like I said , restrictions keep getting shot down . Most recently now New York . The people putting these in place simply don’t have the authority to do so.
States or private representatives don’t suddenly gain executive authority during a pandemic.
I’m not arguing if the restrictions put in place are warranted or not ( I’m no doctor/ scientist) just the private and public representatives ability to create/enforce
