There are conditions of employment everywhere, every job has them, he did not meet the conditions and caused a world of shit for everyone involved and could possibly put people in the hospital due to carelessness and selfishness and nothing more.That is simply not true and whoever told you that id love to talk to. There are several other factors that one can be discriminated against for at work. We routinely deal with wrongful termination in Maryland based on age . People always want to get rid of the old and bring in the new based on some very weak reasoning.
The 14th amendment doesn’t go away once your signed a contract with a private organization. Another misconception people have is that somehow private companies can do what they please and not be sued based on federal and state law .

He will in no way, shape, or form, have any legal ground to stand on lmao, he directly broke the rules and conditions of employment during a pandemic and shut a whole team down and caused a thanksgiving primetime game to be cancelled. If he didn’t want to wear the mask and if he didn’t want to have to take off work, he had the choice to opt out, but if he didn’t opt out then he had rules to follow.
