Morgan Cox in on the covid list now, so it's officially NICK MOORE SZN

Also Pat Ricard, Justin Madubuike, and apparently Will Holden was the lone positive test today (and on the list tomorrow)

monday. 5pm

Jackson tested positive Thursday so it’s possible he could play next Monday assuming he has had no new negative test

Jeez , Madubuike is a big loss considering Williams and Campbell are both hurt

Just because I posted earlier and it escalated for beyond that, this could be our game day roster on Tuesday lol

QB (2): Griffin, McSorley/Huntley (if McSorley clears)
RB (3): Edwards, Hill, T. Williams
WR (6): Brown, Bryant, Snead, Duvernay, Proche, Boykin
TE (3): Andrews, Willson, Tomlinson/Culkin
OL (8): Brown, Bozeman, Colon-Castillo, Powers, Fluker, Phillips, Bredeson, Prince/Rodgers (if Rodgers passes protocol)
DL (4): Wolfe, Ellis, Washington, Crawford
ILB (5): Queen, Harrison, Fort, Board, Welch
OLB (5): Ngakoue, Judon, Ferguson, Bowser, Adeoye/Rivers
CB (4): Humphrey, Peters, Smith, T. Williams
S (5): Clark, Elliott, Levine, Richards, Stone
ST (3): Tucker, Koch, Moore

Could see another CB (Harris or Desir if he signs tomorrow) in place of a 5th OLB, but man that's a laughable roster. It's funny that several of our options - Davontae Harris, Pierre Desir, Jake Rodgers, Eric Tomlinson - will have logged 0 practices with the team.

If I’m the Steelers I run at that weak D line repeatedly. Jeez this could be tough to watch

Hey we pulled it off with Ryan Mallet and an injury riddled team before. Maybe it can happen again

remember the human cost of this virus - it’s not a given that these guys will be back within 10 days fully recovered

I don’t know if Calais is referring to someone else’s prior experience or his own current experience but it is worth noting he suffers from asthma so it may be that he’s personally getting hit hard by this virus

I think this virus has highlighted how truly unhealthy we are as a society. The CDC said of the deaths in the US , the individuals average 2.4 underlying health conditions. Diabetes , hypertension, heart disease etc ... We need to change the way we eat and live sedimentary life styles.

Another thing our society should take a look at is the cost of medicine in this country. Imagine having to bear the cost of diabetes and then also getting slammed with a million dollar hospital bill after you survive covid.

But that's not something that applies to football players.

It's interesting that Pittsburgh placed 3 players on covid reserve. I wonder if they are still complaining about the postponement.

what are the odds we see any self-reflection from the steelers and their fans about their behaviour and statements earlier this week if this is indeed true...

Never wish COVID on anyone, but like you said, lets see how much restraint these Steelers exercise on Twitter after they announce these positive tests.

oh absolutely not wishing it on anyone
least of all James Connor (who's the steelers player who's confirmed positive) who's a cancer survivor which makes him much higher risk than most players in the league

i wish him well

but the armchair analysts and fans i hope stew in their own hypocrisy for being outrageous during a pandemic

If our game went as scheduled on Thursday and these players tested positive on Friday then there's a good chance they would have played while carrying COVID. That's dangerous for both teams involved as players are not wearing masks on the field, in the huddle, etc.

What a mess. This is going to be an ugly game whether it's played between scrubs or whether big name guys eventually play in a post-covid haze of fatigue.
