I believe I saw him in one of Lamar's offseason workout videos. Former buckeye wr.

yeah he was there with hollywood, AB and jerry jeudy

he was a udfa for a reason though lol - he's not particularly fast, long strider, not that crisp or sudden with his routes

but he's 6'4 200lbs, coached by brian hartline at ohio state and has some short-area quickness and decent hands...

decent camp body to bring in and has a relationship with lamar from back when they were kids

Yep I don't think he's an NFL caliber player for the reasons you mentioned, but no harm in taking a shot. Insane catch radius. No reason not to give him a spot for now. And if something better comes along, so be it.

like i think he's a step below a guy like antoine wesley who i think has actual tools and nuance that give him a chance (but he hasn't done anything with them yet since he's been in the league)

the other issue for these bottom of the roster big-receiver types is that they're unlikely to ever be an option on special teams which completely tanks their chances of making the active roster as ravens because they're not competing with the 5th/6th/7th receiver options they have to actively beat out the 3rd/4th receiver options

Extending Lamar right now is either brilliant or terrible. We will find out which but if he’s your QB going forward regardless then you get the deal done now.

I'm for extending him now. Could save the organization millions.

I think so too but the only reason I wouldn’t extend him is if there’s any way we wouldn’t keep him. If there is any doubt then you cannot extend him. If he is your guy though then you marry him and call it a day and save some money if you can. This is literally the perfect time to extend him since he’s had a down year and all the other stuff.

RG3 didn't do much on the field, but can't understate how much he meant to Lamar's development. I'll always respect what he did here. Humbled himself and found a way to bring value.

and this doesnt completely shut off his chances to be back - if huntley and/or mcsorely flame out this offseason we probably welcome him back

but hard not to see huntley improving enough this offseason to win the backup job given what he's shown so far and that we'd be comfortable with that

Would honestly be pretty cool if one of the teams left wanted to sign Ingram. Buffalo could use a back potentially. Get that man a ring.
