@rossihunter2, you seeing the Star Wars news? Don't want to spoil anything, in case you're not caught up on the Mandalorian.

Yeah, I'm being overwhelmed with new stuff. The Bad Batch and the Obi-Wan show are the ones I'm really looking forward to. Mainly because of their ties to the prequels.haha yeah ive seen all the new stuff being announced - wasnt caught up on the mandalorian but have been spoilt most of the major plot stuff (and cameo appearances)
really not been that excited about season 2 of the mandalorian so not really bothered about watching it every week
but yeah 10 new star wars things
i love star wars but i wont lie to you - that feels like too much star wars lol
i never thought i'd be worn out/tired/not-hyped for a star wars property but the rise of skywalker has drained all my enthusiasm out of the franchise
that being said the high republic murder thriller series looks interesting conceptually, and i love everything taika waititi does and Lando might be fun
it pains me to say all of this as a star wars fan though but of all the upcoming projects from disney - the only one that feels like a must-watch to me so far is wandavision (and while i enjoy the MCU i wouldnt say i love it)
everything else on the slate just feels so safe and middle of the road - give me some weird, or risky stuff - i dont even really care if it sucks just make something honestly creative
it's why i will always enjoy every single one of the prequels more than the rise of skywalker

And if there's going to be an Ahsoka show, I'd rather it was animated and with Ashley Eckstein.
Animated sequel, but with the Clone Wars style. That was my biggest issue with Rebels. It was harder to get to the good parts of the story when the animation wasn't what I was used to.yeah from what ive seen of the live action appearance in mandalorian - the character did not seem to be ahsoka at all - the characterisation felt wrong by rosario dawson
it also has to be said that the actress who portrayed her is one of at least 2 on the mandalorian who have been saying/doing some problematic things especially with regards to transphobia - partly the reason ive not been hyped about season 2 of the mandalorian
tbh i probably would have just preferred an animated sequel to rebels where she and sabine go looking for ezra or something
i think kenobi could be interesting but i just dont know what story there is to tell and the nature of where it would have to fit in the timeline makes the whole idea of it seem completely inconsequential and lowers the stakes massively
Acolyte (the mystery thriller series) sounds very much like it's my shit just on the premise alone - the premise sounds cyberpunk as fuck and that is my jam - so cyberpunk in the star wars universe sounds awesome to me
it and the taika waititi thing feel like the only 2 projects they announced that might break new ground that i'd be interested in - i just dont feel right now like i'd want to invest my time into most of those other series - feels like the potential for serious over-saturation too

I wonder if they had known beforehand that a Kenobi series/movie was possible, that they might have done things differently with Maul in Rebels. That could've been big, but I don't think they met again until Rebels. It's only supposed to be a few episodes though, so I'm just happy to see Ewan McGregor again.
Oh yeah, I was just thinking about how Maul could've been the plot of Kenobi if Rebels hadn't already happened.honestly i think the way that episode was handled in rebels was perfect - id prefer it not to have its significance changed and im not sure there's a story they could do with those 2 in the live action that would justify not having done what they did in rebels
there's just something about the design in the animated shows that made maul such an amazing character - not sure i would have enjoyed the live action version
but they have confirmed hayden christensen as "darth vader" is in the show so that's cool

I had low expectations for Wandavision, but it's really interesting so far
What kind of bullshit rubbish is this?
Latest episode pissed me off. Skullys girl needs to check herself because she had her child in a car full of guns and then her people started shooting... like how can you be so stupid that you blame anyone but yourself lolSnowfall back the 25th.

He’s shook ever since he got shot. Feeling real vulnerable and you can tellAGREE. These writers got Saint moving funny this season though
