And then we have Jeff who has continually maintained that if they got an offer of a 1st or something equivalent, they'd probably move him. But they clearly don't feel pressured because they have no reason to be pressured. *** is the king of overreacting, and obviously, has no real connections. Still remember the 3 straight years where Torrey Smith was supposed to return lol

don’t forget how Zach Orr was getting a big-time extension

Funny story about that.

Na... He's tall and athletic as hell. I'm assuming you saw the trade idea of Brown for him and a pick?

Yeah, and no don’t fucking trade him for another receiver with extremely questionable hands lol.

If you trade him, you get a first round pick and more, and if that “more” involves a big contract as well then don’t do it.

Things ravens fans have witnessed in their lifetimes that most chiefs fans have not:
Win 2 Super Bowls
Beat Tom Brady in the playoffs

Things chiefs fans have seen that ravens fans have not:
A blowout Super bowl loss
Chiefs also haven't been on the right side of a blowout win in a SB either.

From Tony Lomardi over at RSR:

"I've been told JLC has a relationship with Zeus' agent, Joe Panos. So he might have some cred in this case unless the agent is dictating the narrative to achieve a specific end game.

Panos is reaching out to teams around the league and from what I'm told as many as 6 teams are interested. Best offer that has been shared with me is the Jags second round pick (No. 33 overall)."

I'm not trading him for a pick that low. I thought we would be getting a mid first. or maybe a late first and a second. Not worth it.

That’s cute. EDC does the fleecing around here. There’s absolutely no way that happens.

It’s all fun and games till Eric Dabossta puts his piece on the table and asks

“what was that offer again?”

I'm sure the conversations have to be centering on moving that #33 offer to #25. But also have to think if they include a mid rounder or something, it could be a good offer. Don't think we're getting much more than that.

You ain't getting that. No indication his value has been anywhere close to that except by fans.

People see the bad GMing done by BoB and think we're getting 2 1sts and a 2nd. That's not how this works. At best I thought we'd maybe get a mid teens pick. Realistically was a late 1st. 33 is fringe, but I'd take it with another late pick.

Agreed. Tunsil is no barometer. That trade was universally hated by everyone in the league.

33 is a good starting point and I'm sure we're trying to get them to up the offer to 25 and potentially throw in a sweetener via a mid-late round pick.

Fair in expectations and I'd like to revalue to a pick in the mid 20s. but my value wasn't based off tunsil, it was based of Buckner ( who I know is way better) but also the value of OBJ after what happened to Mahomes and teams desperate for a LT that don't have a chance at penei and realize the lack of good offensive tackles in this draft.

Shit forgot my main reason, you really have to wow me for him to be traded. If I get a super high pick im cool with it. If its a second rounder, I wouldn't mind keeping a premier tackle.

If we can't get a 1, I do really like the idea of getting 33. It's an enviable spot. You get like 18 hours to field trade offers and figure out what you want to do. And if we could potentially coax them into giving us their 4th rounder at the top of the round too, we could have another length period to field offers if we wanted.

I don't think the SB has any impact on value. That's purely fan-driven at this point. The SB didn't show anybody how valuable Tackles are. The league already knew that. All it showed is what happens to pretty much every team in the league who loses both of their tackles at the same time, which is that they have no depth (like all 32 NFL teams) and they're going to struggle to beat good teams.

NFL teams are never going to let a one game sample dictate anything about how to build a roster. People are going to price Brown based on the needs they have on their team currently, and how well they think replacements can be in the context of price.

Personally I always preferred taking a first round pick next year in hopes their pick is higher than this year. Obviously takes two to tango there but you get my point. 33 isn’t bad though you’re right. I think for me personally I said two first round picks not because I expected that but because for me that’s the way you get me to be willing to part with him. He’s too valuable to just let him go. It’s a hard predicament.
