Either Atlanta takes him, Cincy takes him over Chase or he's a Dolphin at 6. No way he is anywhere within trade range.
If Atlanta pivots and either takes a QB or trades down to a team coming up to get a QB, Cincinnati has both a dream and nightmare spot.
They could justify Pitts, they could justify Chase (who Burrow is supposedly lobbying for), or they could do the "wise" thing and take the best Tackle in the draft, since Cincinnati's Oline is total shit and it likely doesn't matter who he's throwing to at the moment.
Plus its not like Cincinnati is void of pass catchers. They have some pretty good offensive skill position talent on that roster.
In that spot specifically, I'd go Pitts, with Oline as the backup. I'm not taking Chase if I'm Cincinnati.
I know a lot of people in the media have been saying Dallas loves Pitts. I want to see how far he falls before they try to come up to get him.
Say Atlanta trades back with, like, Denver, to #9. Denver takes a QB at #4, and Cincinnati takes an Olineman at #5. If Miami takes Chase (or even a Bama WR) at #6 instead of Pitts, I would love to see what happens after that. If Pitts were on the board at #7, I think Dallas would love to trade up to get him, and I think Detroit could very easily want to trade back, since they need a lot of help in a lot of places.
Long shot obviously, but I'm more intrigued by what happens if Pitts doesn't go in the top 5.
