I want oweh wearing his college number. Let’s jump right in with this new number rule. Also wanna see Hollywood in 5, duvernay in 6, dobbins or Wallace in 2, Bateman in 13, Elliott in 4. Madubuike and Harrison can’t have their old numbers though, madubuike for obvious reasons and Harrison because 39 looks ugly af
I riot if Koch gives up 4.

Bateman in 12 and Wallace is taking 16 apparently. Our WRs are now 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 80. Who is the outlier here?

Can we get some nickname action going? I take full responsibility for giving Queen “The First 48” even though it never quite caught on. It’s the hardest nickname of all time and I don’t care what anyone says. I like Rashod “The Mystery of Sean Green” Bateman and Odafe “Dis is Da Wae” Oweh.

Except that is not the point I am making. The point I am making is that if you have a lot of rookies starting, it means that, on average, you have a lot of below average starters. Saying Bateman could be, and hopefully is, better than Boykin and therefore the starter, does not mean he is an above-average receiver. My argument is simply that it is not a good thing to have a lot of rookies starting because on average it means you have a lot of below-average starters.
Right, but the term "on average" doesn't actually translate into what those rookies will be. We may have the higher end of the "on average" totem pole playing on our team, which means another team has the lower end.

And there's no way of knowing. That's why pretty much no NFL team thinks this way, because they don't have the luxury of only playing multi-year veterans or keeping rookies on the bench. There's too many roster restrictions to allow it.

As long as the rookie is an upgrade over what you could have reasonably had in the veteran market, its a positive. It doesn't really matter where they "rank" in terms of comparables overall to the entire league.

I am of the mindset of I don’t care if the guy has played 25 years in the league or if he’s 20 and never played a down, if that person gives us the best chance to get the W, who gives a damn

Did we ever come to the conclusion as to why Ardarius Washington was passed on by every team 7 times? Clearly we liked him. Is this gonna be one of those, wow everyone was clearly over-thinking it moments and this guy is gonna come in a be a real rotational contributor? Like zero disrespect to Wade or Stephens, but Washington has gotta be primed for that 3rd safety role right?

He’s just so small. Like, skillset is absolutely there. There’s no question about that. But he’s small in height and weight. He’s played through that and done well his entire life, but it is a different animal when you’re playing the best of the best at the highest level. Can he succeed? I think he can. But the questions have to be real and I understand it.

I think all his hype came from this board really. I respect all of you guys' opinions but this guy might just be the new Tyler Biadsz; everyone clamouring for him since round 3, but no front office feeling the same way. Hope I'm wrong since he's a Raven now.
