2021 Schedule Release

Good we playing raiders.. get to work somethings out before we start playing tbe better teams

Based off the schedule, I'd say unless Cincy beats Minnesota then if we win we'll be the only team in the division with a win leaving week one.

I think both browns and pit have a shot at winning.

Steelers are losing that game by double digits. If I were to predict records, I think the Browns finish 12-4, Bengals 7-9 and Steelers 5-11. The Steelers are a top 10 defense with a bottom 5 offense that is worse than last year (also worse on defense than last year but they were good so a step back is not fatal).

Aren't there two Monday Night games on week 1. Do we have the late game or the early game?

Not this year, NFL got rid of it and gave ESPN a Double Header on a Saturday in Week 18. 8:15ET kickoff time for the Ravens-Raiders, now I got to find tickets which I think aren't on sale yet.

StubHub and other secondary markets have some for sale online... for the low, low price of about $700-800 for nosebleed seats up top.

Tickets went on sale through the nfl app this morning 5:30 am my time. And we’re sold out by 5:45am. It did say more would be released tomorrow at 5pm pst. So I grabbed some on stubhub this morning. Not the best seats but stoked for a Vegas trip and Monday night football

I think it remains to be seen what they look like on offense. I think their Oline may be weakened, but then again, there's no way they take a RB in the first round and then throw it 600 times again. They'll be a much more balanced offense, which in my opinion, will lead to a better offense.

I actually think it'll be their defense, which won't be bad, but it will take a step back. They lost a couple starters in the secondary and obviously Dupree. They're still pretty pedestrian at inside linebacker to me, and I think they'll struggle to stop the run. They added virtually nobody to help with this either.

5 wins is quite low in my opinion, because I just don't think they had nearly the roster turnover to drop that far, but I don't think they'll be a playoff team either.

How are they worse than last year?

Yeah I might have to do stub hub too, another reason I wanted this game to be mid or late in the season. If a team has a losing record, people sell their tickets and more become available.

yeah, I was hoping for anything other than opening night because of the withdrawal from attending games and being out is at an all time high so obviously that equals more demand for tickets. But not gonna lie opening up the season on Monday night in Vegas is gonna be so fun.

Well I mean Ben is a year older, didn't look particularly good last year, their offensive line is likely to be worse, and again, they lost some good players on defense, while not really adding anybody of note.

Plus, for the last like 5-6 weeks of the season last year (including playoffs), I would argue they were one of like the 5 worst teams in the league.

Like I can't completely ignore the fact that they started 11-0, but from December forward, they were a very below average football team.

Their last 7 games, including playoffs, they went 2-5, with one of those wins coming against the Ravens, by 5, at home, against a team that was ravaged by COVID. They got blown out by Buffalo, lost by double digits to Cincinnati (without Burrow), and then got pounded by Cleveland in the playoffs.

And outside of adding a RB, I'm not sure why they'd be much better than that same group. Like I said earlier... I think they'll be better on offense just by being more balanced and less predictable, but I don't think they'll be a top defense this year either.

In terms of leaks, this one comes from a Broncos beatwriter. Ravens @ Broncos in week 4, Sunday 4:25 kickoff. Puts our two "west coast" trips in the first month.

I can not believe the NFL is having Bears-Rams to open the first SNF game of the season. Some of these primetime games are head scratchers, like how do the Saints have 5 primetime games after Brees' retirement?

So I guess my question would be... which games would be better in that spot? Those are two pretty big draws for the NFL.

Cowboys/Bucs is easily the biggest game of the weak, and that's Thursday night. The only other two games that look "interesting" from a ratings perspective is Packers/Saints (no Brees, a lot of ? about Rodgers status) and Browns/Chiefs, which was probably the more obvious one.

Other than that, I'm not seeing a game that will probably draw better.

Confirming no Thanksgiving game for the Ravens this year:
Chicago @ Detroit
Las Vegas @ Dallas
Buffalo @ New Orleans

Yannick retweeted Schefter’s tweet about them hosting us with an emoji lol. Safe to say he has this game circled. Snead said something as well I think
