Y’all think we should’ve drafted Metcalf over Hollywood? Seems Metcalf is the better WR for Lamar’s strengths

I think 3-4 WRs would have ended up being the better with the benefit of hindsight (and for I think a lot of these boards the benefit of foresight as well), but the Ravens got who they got and its not like he is a bad WR, he just is not a number 1 like several of the others in that draft.

Seriously, when is it that we all see each other as belonging to the human race, because that is the overarching truth. We are all humans period. We may look different, talk different, feel culturally different but at the root of it all we are absolutely the same. Identically human. I cannot wait for a world where there is nothing superficial separating all humans. Wouldn't that be glorious for mankind?

I will simply say a big amen to this.

This is a very fun video of one Mr. Patrick Queen from last year. Our defense has a ton of potential to be a fast, aggressive, playmaking unit.

Check the Malik Harrison video from the same account, it was VERY encouraging, less splashy but also a lot more proper play throughout. These 2 are gonna be a ridiculous tandem I think, complement very well, and should make for a versatile nickel package that requires less subbing than we’ve done in recent years.

Love Harrison too. I think Queen’s more “improper” play stems largely from only having 9 games of starter experience in college and a completely jacked up offseason last season. I think the world of any rookie who did at least average last year, especially if they had very little college experience

Honestly I’m gonna agree with you. Change the name to a certain AJ Brown and I’m totally onboard with JAAM
I wanted either Hollywood or A.J. Brown as my top choice coming into the draft. I thought for the longest time in the offseason, A.J. I liked Deebo also but was concerned with his hamstring injury history and didn't want him in the first round. I was a big fan of Metcalf as well, but felt Hollywood or A.J. would be the best fits in Baltimore.

Hollywood and LJ are best friends so we can’t take that chemistry aspect away from it. But I still think AJ would be much better for Jackson’s strengths as a middle of the field passer

we also have to take into account that AJ probably wouldn't have done as well due to lower targets and that goes for Ridley as well.

I have no reason to think that AJ wouldn't have at least gotten the targets that Hollywood has. If not more, since he operates the middle of the field very well, and that is where Lamar love to put the ball

Tee Martin (although he doesn't look it now) was Championship winning QB.
He chased his NFL dream in Europe before turning to coaching.
He started off his career coaching.....QBs...was a college QB coach before switching to WRs.
He's also coached QB at the Elite 11 camps.
He's been an assistant HC, offensive coordinator and playcaller in college, responsible for grooming Sam Darnold into being a top NFL draft pick. (imho no small feat)

I'm excited by his ability to bring a QB perspective not only to the WR room but to the coaching staff as whole.

btw, I knew that Clemson WR Amari Rodgers is the son of Tee Martin, but I just learned that Tee Higgins is also the son of Tee Martin and was named after him.

Hollywood plays his best when he operates out of the slot. That being said it's best to have him play x, y and z and now that we have Watkins, Bateman and Hollywood, they can all play all over the field.

That's the point, he would have had the targets that Hollywood had, not the same amount of targets he has had in TN or if it was. Ridley we were referring to, he wouldn't have received the same amount of targets that he has had in Atlanta.

Let me go ahead and say it… as a person who grew up watching the Vols and college football in general (lived like 10 mins from the Vols’ Neyland Stadium), Tee Martin is the shittt… he’ll be an excellent coach
