if it happens this year i think it's far more likely that it's james urban as our interim OC until the season ends...
these are the same tracking things they had to wear last year (for contact tracing purposes) - it's only for when they're in the buildings to identify close contacts if someone gets a positive test
i think he'd be isolated until he turned in 2 consecutive negative tests but i might be wrong
What type of oc would urban would be? Is he more balanced you think?
no idea - but he's the guy who's worked with lamar the longest and you likely want the guy who takes over mid-season to be a guy who's worked with your QB or someone with serious coordinating experience...
also because im pretty sure urban became our QB coach partly as a lateral move because it's easier to become a coordinator as a QB coach vs any other position coach

I think they also wear them when the team travels. To be fair the trackers don’t bug me as much. Most of us willing rock tracking devices already with phones, smart watches, cars etc…

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else, but some really great news on WR's/Dobbins/Bowser/etc... but alas, Bozeman had 3 (THREE!!) errant snaps today. Two of which would have gotten the QB killed if in real game action. Perhaps we should look at some players on the market who can just snap a ball. I don't get why it's so damn hard for our team to do such a rudimentary skill that kids learn in peewee/middle school football.

worth pointing out that it's day 1 of training camp with bozeman - he'll have to get used to snapping the football again and perhaps work out what he wants to do with gloves, no-gloves, taped fingers, untaped fingers etc...
there'll be a narrative about the snaps because its a hot-button issue but let's give him a few days/weeks to see if he can get better - if it remains an issue next month then we should start looking outside the building (or maybe at trystan colon)

Oh.. I knew about the tracking devices last year, I thought this year were completely different tracking devices... my bad lol. Only thing I know is here in America, if you try to force people to do something, the less they will resist which is why people are fighting back against it. IE... The Cole Beasleys of the world.

Not confirmed I guess, but I'm pretty disappointed that Lamar didn't take the vaccine. These high profile, incredibly important players are really playing with fire by not doing so. All the restrictions he'll have as the team leader...

No matter what a person believes about the virus and vaccines/etc, your team leader CANNOT be held back and be restricted for his own decisions. Otherwise, he is restricting himself from being as great of a leader as he can be.

I might be in the minority, but I can’t really be too upset. As much as I want our star QB to take every step he can to be available on the field, I still believe it should be a choice until the vaccine is at least FDA approved. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it still isn’t right? Sorry, I’ve been out of the loop and not up to date on current news.
Its a thin line for me.. being upset as a fan but understanding from a pro-choice perspective.
