More QB news... looks like this will be Aaron Rodgers last season in Green Bay. @Ice Bowl

It's a bit of a head scratcher for me though. The consensus from the media is Aaron's "restructured" deal is going to free up cap space for the Packers this year, in order to make roster additions/improvements. For starters, short of a trade, I don't see where the significant help is coming from in the FA market.
More importantly, I would assume that means freeing up money so that Adams can get paid more. My thought was... why would Adams want to sign a long term extension in GB, if Rodgers is positioning himself to exit? He going to be that high on Jordan Love throwing him the ball for the next 3-4 years?

If I'm Adams, and I see Rodgers doing a restructure to leave town, I'm playing out the last year of my deal, and looking towards FA. The franchise tag would obviously be an option for the Packers on him in 2022, but I don't think I'd be willing to lock myself into GB for like 3-4 more years if I were Adams, knowing that Rodgers won't be there.

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard has requested a trade sighting he signed a contract he didn't understand back in 2018, and basically feels after two seasons he has outperformed it.

Safe to say, Watson isn't going to be playing in 2021. He's now at 24 accusations after two more filed criminal complaints.

Not yet convinced he won't play. I think it's likely he won't, but there's a couple things working for him...
1. Depositions for the plaintiffs aren't schedule until September.
2. Depositions for Watson himself won't happen until February, after the NFL season has concluded.
3. The NFL historically doesn't get involved in discipline for a lot of civil suits.
4. The NFL hasn't put any restrictions on Watson's ability to play right now, and I'm not sure what will change in the next 2 months, given how the legal process is playing out. If they weren't interested in him playing, he'd probably be on the Commissioners exempt list already.

Something is going on with the Raiders.... seems as if things are falling apart even before the season begins.

I imagine with the Bills having the success they are having, something will get done, a compromise will be met and they will have a new stadium in a couple years in Orchard Park. Would like to attend a Bills game in Buffalo just for the experience... seeing Bills fans going through tables in another city wouldn't be right.

In fact, it’s one of the largest asks for public money in pro sports stadium negotiations: Pegula Sports and Entertainment, the team’s owners, have pitched a $1.5 billion proposal for a new stadium in Orchard Park and to help cover some renovation costs to the Pegulas' NHL Sabres arena in downtown Buffalo.

Resolution of the issue, which comes ahead of the team’s 2023 lease expiration of its current stadium deal, has broad fiscal, economic and social implications for the Buffalo area and beyond.

A PSE spokesman, Jim Wilkinson, said the team is not seeking any funds for work at KeyBank Center. Wilkinson also said the figure of at least $1.1 billion being sought in public money for a new Bills' stadium was incorrect; he declined to say if the request by the team was higher or lower.

Potential big breaking news this weekend? Deshaun Watson trade incoming? I mean, Pittsburgh has Ben so why not Philly have Watson.

Edit: Aaron Wilson shut this down quick. Hearing the Panthers are keeping a close eye on this as well even though they traded for Darnold? Must be people still linking them via Clemson.

Um.... WHY? HOW? This does nothing to improve officiating whatsoever. Walt "Tuck Rule" Anderson is taking over Al Riveron's job as Al is retiring. Walt will also have an assistant in former defensive coordinator/Head Coach Perry Fewell.
