SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL @ M&T Bank Stadium

Coming off a tough loss, playing against our bogey team and now missing even more players than in week 1.

Already missing everyone who was out week 1, and now add Ronnie Stanley, Tyre Phillips and Chris Westry to the injury list with maybe only Jimmy Smith coming back into the fold (still as yet unclear).

It's hard to be positive right now given the way the OL performed and the way the defence capitulated.

But maybe we can keep this close and come out healthy.

Another prime time game, but this game I have no expectations and I can't recall a time not having any expectations of a win. This feeling isn't good at all.

Even though we have a bunch of injuries Ravens are still an NFL squad with a formidable defense and an offense capable of putting up a bunch of points. They’re not in the perfect situation but far from being hopeless. Stop crying. lol

Not that its good to be 0-2 but around the AFC things are looking great for us. Tonight worst case is we are 1 game behind first in the division with the schedule easing up for a tiny bit. Best case we all sit at 1-1. Colts move to 0-2, titans could lose to Titans and Browns

I'm telling you guys right now we gotta limit our blitzes, keep the shit in front and tackle...............HARD!!!

We need to dial up a quality power run game, not a sloppy and clunky option based game, we need to mix up our formations with FBs and TEs and pistols and under center and stretches and boots and all that, we need some goddamn variation in our run game, control the clock, establish the run, pick your shots and dial them up wisely and unpredictably.

On defense, I don’t wanna see a blitz of more than 5 all night, don’t overdo it with stunting edge rushers because it plays right into the chiefs hands, understand what you’re facing and change it up based on that, crashing the interior with your edge and a long arcing stunt may work a lot of the time but mahomes and Reid eats that shit up, what they struggle(and I use that word lightly) against is a speed rush around the edge and cover 2 concepts. Please stop playing the exact scheme that they gameplanned for every single time we face them.

I of course expect none of this and I think this game is embarrassing and out of hand well before the fourth quarter. We may see Huntley in this one.

As silly as it may sound, daelin hayes is the kind of guy I’d really want out there tonight. For one he’s a natural pass rusher, natural shedder and tackler. Two, he’s an extremely savvy and heads up kind of player, the kind of guy who can pick up on those misdirection screens Andy Reid is so brilliant with on shorter money downs.

This feels like 2019 when the big, bad, undefeated Patriorts rolled into Baltimore on a Sunday night. ..

-Biggest and toughest thing will be being able to generate pressure on Mahomes without blitzing.
-Need to win the turnover battle
-Offence needs to be dialed in. The Chiefs will score their 30. Need touchdowns, 3's won't do it.

Go Ravens!
