Id normally agree, but a lot of the best pass rushers in the league rush from the strong side at this point anyway. Anybody on the roster at RT right now is a liability. Even if Jawuan James’s knee magically reassembles itself, there isn’t a solution for average or better play at that position.

but im not moving an all-pro LT and asking him to swap sides coming off an injury

I wasn’t pessimistic when we signed him because I hadn’t watched him yet.
once I watched him I went into immediate “oh boy, here we go” mode but I let everyone settle my nerves with all the “scheme change” and “run first” talk.

Agree with all this. Letting Jensen walk was a massive mistake, and most of us knew it at the time.
I don’t want it to happen again with Bozeman. The major FAs next year are Bozeman, Elliott, and averett, Bozeman feels like the least likely to be the odd man out and I doubt anything can change that

I hate that I have had this thought.
in classic ravens fashion I’m expecting us to go into tonight expecting to get blown out, and then they play them so goddamn well that we are ten times more crushed when we lose. Like the covid game last year.
if he plays like he did Monday throughout the season then I'll have no issues with us giving him a boatload of cash to stick around

If AV is poor again I wonder if they swap Smith/Mekari in for meaningful snaps. Like it's far from ideal but maybe AS or PM > AV and we should test it in a live game to see if that is the case.

I thought Murray did OK considering he had only been with the team 3 or 4 days. They’ll need Freeman too though, guessing they will try to shorten the game.

If AV plays horrible again, I'll begin the dialogue about him regarding something that hasn't been brought up yet and I won't until I see what he does tomorrow.

yeah i would definitely think they opt for Al at LT and mekari at RT, one has played there his whole career and the other has played there in a pinch on quite a few occasions at the pro level
