Well there was all sorts we can criticise. And especially the way this defence seems to come apart even in it's best games.

But... finding a way to just win with all these guys out and in the manner that we did it. That's huge.

Ty Huntley was exactly everything you'd want. He's not got the arm or mechanics of a starter - but he did everything we could have asked of him and proved himself as a backup.

This team is absolutely overwhelmed by injuries but just has the guts to be able to pull these wins out of the bag. This team could have crumbled after Andy Dalton on 4th and long again and you saw it on Bowser's face on the broadcast - he was here when that happened in 2017. And it's only fitting that he was the guy to close it out.

Ugly win.
Great win.

Jesus Christ, this team is going to give me a heart attack this year.

With no QB and barely a full roster, they got the job done. I call that a win in every sense of the word.

Well defense gets the MVP here for holding the Bears to 14 points and about 280 yards despite missing multiple starters (and backups to those starters).

The offense at least looked better than it did against Miami so once Lamar is back hopefully things are back in sync. Also, credit to Watkins for showing why he is the teams number 3 WR over the other WRs.

Huntley did fine but he is not close to Lamar level. I'm very proud of him and this team for persevering over incredibly difficult circumstances.

What’s getting lost in the conversation is the roughing the passer on Oweh. Had they extended the drive further, then got the TD, we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to come back and win

he's young and he made a mistake in a big spot
none of us gave up on stephens after he screwed up last week either?

and westry played well on so many other plays

he had a poor snap and he's gonna hate watching it on the film tomorrow (maybe even on the plane home) but it was a tough spot and he screwed up but it shouldnt negate the good work he did do

Wink needs to adjust his game plan. Throughout the course of the game, the opposing offense figures you out, so when crunch time comes they know where to go and how to pick up the blitz. It’s not just shit luck that we keep falling apart in big defensive moments, it’s because by the time the big moments come they’ve figured out where we’re gonna be vulnerable on money downs, because wink continues to do the same thing in the last 2 minutes that he did the first 58. He needs to start turning his game plans on its head when we get to crucial drives, throw a fucking curveball wink, it doesn’t matter how brilliant your blitz design might be when you have 1-2 guys WIDE open and the offense has a rb in pass pro to just patiently pick up the stunt.

it’s old, it’s stale, it works for 3/4 of the game every week. It’s not a coincidence, this defense works with a certain talent level but it falls apart BY DESIGN.

nothing happens this consistently by coincidence.

The D did quite well after getting roasted by the Red Headed Step Child on his first possession.

They shut him down .
