Jeez... let the man coach. Front offices who try to get involved with coaches and stuff is exactly why Franchises like the Texans are terrible. Culley even admitted that during the Patriots/Texans game Nick Caserio chimed in on the headset to let the Patriots score.

that's unbelievable. idiot management

ive done a bit of reading up and it sounds like he did that for BB and other pats coaches with the patriots too and that it was appreciated

but i think it's worth pointing out that there'll be coaches who dont want that and knowing that that's part of what the job looks like may put them off
huh, somehow I have a hard time believing that BB would have anything to do with that.

Part of me feels bad for Mayock because he's paying the price for all of Gruden's picks... but I also don't feel bad because he was a bad hire to begin with.

he was brought in to be gruden's enabler and he did that
but also worth noting that while he's not done great on early picks (and maybe that's because gruden had some guys he wanted and he was the boss), he's found really top tier talent in the mid and later rounds which is where the scouting and talent evaluation is super important for teams separating themselves from each other...

maxx crosby, hunter renfrow, bryan edwards, john simpson, nate hobbs and then some other guys who've contributed like divine deablo, foster moreau

that's pretty good in 3 years to find all those guys outside the first 2 rounds... 5 starters and 2 of them are already high quality starters as well as some depth

So far Joe Schoen, Ryan Poles and Adam Peters are the only guys to get 2nd interviews with the Giants

hopefully a good sign for us that Joe Hortiz could be staying in Baltimore

Giants just requested an interview with Dan Quinn (which i think is their first HC interview request) but i cant see any links between dan quinn and any of the GM candidates which is somewhat interesting that he's the first guy they ask to interview before the GM's even in place

lol this would be insane

i just want to double-check im not going crazy - josh mccown's never been a coach at all right??? and they're interviewing him (for the 2nd time) to not just be a coach but the head coach of the organisation when he hasn't even run a position room let alone anything remotely like an organisation lol...

Is it REALLY insane tho? Look at which team we're discussing. Come on now lol.

Hortiz is out of the running for the Giants GM job. They wanted someone who had assisted GM experience.
