NFL officiating is taking a big L this weekend but how did Dak not know the ref needs to spot the ball and you can't just spot it yourself?

Worst part about this is the Niners and Pack playing each other next week. Would have rather seen that as the NFCCG.

Why don't you take two shots instead of running for a new first. Can't reward stupid decisions.

Bucs get a team playing on a short week. You can’t make up this stuff. lol

all they gained is yardage - which only helps them have a better shot at the endzone... literally not worth the risk there

or if it is then dak has to get down earlier to make sure

genuinely multiple fireable offences by cowboys coaching staff today

and on top of that they also had the most penalties in franchise history in the playoffs and so many of them were pre-snap or poor discipline... that in and of itself suggests poor coaching

Kellen Moore should have called something else, a QB draw anywhere not near the out of bounds mark is just asking to lose the game.

Jerry Jones isn't going to fire McCarthy, he stuck with Garrett years after he should have been fired. Dallas & Cincy are the best two spots to become a Head Coach because you basically have a job for life no matter how bad the season went lol.

i mean sure - but garrett was his guy - mccarthy is not his guy, he's a guy who made a pitch to him and he hired - if anything kellen moore is his guy more than mccarthy is

but also worth pointing out that jerry is the most vain owner in the league and they just embarrassed him in a massive spot on national television

gutless Andy Reid - how do you not trust mahomes to get a yard there lol

it's bizarre how some of the best offensive minds in the NFL are super conservative on 4th down - andy reid, sean mcvay, kyle shanahan all seem terrified of 4th and short

what's interesting is that lots of defensive coaches and special teams coaches etc. or just guys who dive into the analytics understand that the worst thing you want to see on 4th and short as a defence is the offence staying on the field - the defence wants you to punt there
