Who would you have drafted....

i think its one of those things where rb form can be incredibly short term so he may well be the answer but theres no harm in bringing in another high quality back - most good teams use more than one anyway
Yeah but we really need to see whether Dixon got his shit in order. He and Collins could be pretty good tandem, I wouldn't spend more than a 3rd just yet.

Sami, I know you like Humphrey now, but you didn’t really like him around draft time. Who would you have drafted back in May, prior to changing your tune on Humphrey. Kudos to you for watching the tape.

Who I would have taken with players availability in the first three rounds.
1. Marlon Humphrey
2. Tim Williams or Carl Lawson
3. Carlos Henderson
3. Fabian Moreau

I won't blast you for that but I'm not sure he's viewed as a long term answer. Not saying he won't be, I just don't know. We'll see come season's end.
We certainly can’t let him get away and he will be be a cheep erfa. He’s been our offense this season. He and Dixon along with a draft pick will be a nice trio next season.

Post tape i had him a solid pick. my fav pick would have been forrest lamp but he'd have torn his ACL here for sure too

I would have been thrilled with Forest Lamp as well. I know you changed your pick. Humphrey gets me more excited with each game.

1) Humphrey was a pick I didn't dislike, even if at that time I liked Conley better. Still, I would've passed on the Ohio St guy simply because of that off field investigation prior the draft.
My other fav pick was Mckinley but I'm fine with how it unfolded, now even more than then.
2) Without knowing how deep Lawson would fall, I'd have pulled the trigger here. Too much floor as a pass rusher to be passed on. If you see how his pressures and sacks came, embarassing LTs, you'd wonder why he wasn't a full time starter for the Bengals and why the kid did get 0 media coverage as the season ended. Bosa put great number as a rookie but if you check his sacks on youtube you'll see a good part of them came as effort/coverage sacks; not individual plays.
3a) Antonio Garcia. Needed OL badly and he was simply one good versatile player.
3b) yess. Would have double dipped at OLB in a blink of an eye. Timmy was too tasty there.
4) Was absolutely fine with the pick. Hope Goosa gets well soon.
5) Tanzel Smart. Cperfect clone of one of my fav DT small school prospects: Javon Hargrave. Low center of gravity, good upper body strenght and nasty af.
6) OL depth, whether that was Justin Senior, Bisnowaty or Mcdermott.
